Looks like there will be plenty or rain overnight on Wednesday now, and an early tee time on Thursday could be the one.
Looking through the list, not many jump offf the page, but have had a small interest on Branden Grace first round leader at 50/1. He tees off at 07.52.
Wind looks fairly consistent all day which is good. Hoping we don't get huge swings based on the draw.

Would like to see a good showing from Rory. Like him or not, golf is more interesting when he's on song.
listening to radio I've learnt tv broadcasters keep a few horror shots from leading pros from viewers
Rory is playing like a 24 handicapper., who can't play to 24.
McIlroy stinking the place out on the 1st
pmsl at Butch "did he forget to take the putter cover off???"

In his younger days, Grant played off 1
unfortunatley nowhere near good enough, need to be playing off +3 or +4 to get on tour
rory told coltart he wasn't using driver till 13th
uses it 2nd hole
uses it 2nd hole
OH **** off KOOOOOCCCHHHHH, absolute choking dog of a man,Brought his sack for the top twenty cash!
Can't really blame him Jedi, I'd be happy to tee it up for a 20% discount on green fees
Sickens me how always pops up under no pressure at all and absolutely wilts when comes on..Had right good value on him last week and he just popped along for a place,no inclination to press for the win at all. TOS SER.
Biggest green are Noren,Koepka,Rahmbo..By some way.
Few others gone ok, Hideki,Henk,Fitz.
Bet about DOZEN.

No danger of anyone being outof pocket come sunday due ti Kooch.Casey.
Rory McIlroy is only three years off the age when Tiger Woods stopped winning majors.
Rory McILroy is only 18 years off the age when Jack Nicklas stopped winning majors
Yup. Perfect conditions now, -3 on the back 9 with 2 par 5s very possible.
rory can't blame conditions
missed every fairway iron off the tee
missed every fairway iron off the tee
Feels like there's something going on with Rory beyond the early season injury, this is another terrible effort.
rorys been out of form for a long time, why did u expect it to change?
Meet Canadian Austin CONNELLY.......
Opted against a college career in the United States to turn professional at the age of 18. A dual citizen of Canada and the United States, made his d ebut at the AT&T Byron Nelson on the PGA TOUR as a 17 year old. Turned professional later that year, making two 54-hole cuts. Signed with long-time friend Jordan Spieth’s management company and took the 2015 Masters Tournament champion’s advice when turning professional.
Earned European Tour status after making the cut at 2017 Qualifying School Final Stage and made a strong start to his Tour career with a tied ninth finish at the ISPS HANDA World Super 6 Perth.

Was just wondering if the toothache might recur, can see him walking off here. Apparently this was Faldo on US TV, not sure what he was getting at:
Faldo: "I don't think Rory's settled -- whatever way you want to say that. There's a lot going on in his life. Just too much going on."

Not done Day much good either. +5 thru 6, may develop a sudden interest in art deco clubhouse architecture when he hits the turn.

it's a phorum bug. when a post has an extra space like Total Bosman's after the first sentence, it can't be replied to. You can get around this by starting your post with a >.
Will try to control my space bar use. Must admit, thought there would be a few more runs at the leaders this afternoon too. Conditions seem decent.
I'm not falling for this Charley Hoffman trick again.
useless kuchar, had him at 11/4 to be leading after round 1, guy cant birdie 1 par 5 with a driver and a mid iron, get fecked

Only Thursday, but been a really dull afternoon. Neither tough enough or easy enough for excitement or carnage.
Changed to a 4 on scoreboard. He must of talked well in the stewards room.He looked sick on 18.
Correct frames, back to a 4....Farcical this ongoing problem,do they trust these players or not!
Strange that the scorers gave him the 2 shot penalty straight away.I though he had an eagle putt.
Poor from Sky not to follow it up or at least interview Rahm.
I thought he was bang to rights in Irish and had bet him, and he done a job on Parrymore. no coverage this time though.
Much rathers see Poults hitting 4 irons from bunkers....Joke.
Yes Butch,it would be good to know. They showed his 2nd shot.
Feck me ,they are explaining the Hale Irwin ruling from 1833Get on to today's.
So what happened about Rahm was he penalised or not?
Funny day today, cagey performances all round! Often you think this guys going to go close or at least you can see some early signs of a shape to the tournament. I cant at this point, even Spieth isnt looking that good in my view. I think there is some value in the guys around the +1 +2 mark priced over 200.0 who could easily make a run tomorrow and find themselves within a couple of shots of the lead. I think it could be a good Open this year with plenty of chances come Sunday!
garcia - massive disappointment for me today - best conditions
spieth never looks good to me but he does hole a few putts
hes expecting bad weather tomorrow
hes expecting bad weather tomorrow
I think Mick was worse ,birdie free ,come back Bones all is forgiven.
Spieth certainly has the X factor, only like him when he is on fire though, if he hangs around he will find a way to win, thats a skill few have. All my bets did well bar Rory although he still has a chance, just not feeling I have the winner though!
Rory +1
Casey -4
Noren -2
Fitzpatrick -1
Day -1
Hadwin +1
Lowry +2
Could cash out for a small profit, probably wont but cant take a confident view on things as they stand!!

Just added a few at absolutely huge prices,Hadwin at plus 1,600+ Laird, Ramsay minus 2,200+.
Prices are absolutely crazy, weather may cause mayhem...
Spiffy has bad round the market completely different surely. And he may get the worst of it,though i doubt it as he is a jammy ####

At its worst early afternoon in to late afternoon, really early or really late out tomorrow a chance of getting best of it....
But all guessing i suppose!
But all guessing i suppose!
Very happy with my 7 today with only Harrington in trouble, I have added stakes to Casey Cabrera Bello, Fitzpatrick and Grace and I have added Hoffman, Bland and Connolly as they are big prices and in the leading group.

see what it looks like after tomorrows carnage
should be interesting, and doubtless frustrating to watch the golfers we have cash on.
