The shot tracker on the Open website is a pain in the ass. They keep putting a picture of the players head over the current location of the ball so you can't click on it.

think great golf course. no really hard holes but just a lot of tricky ones. also none of those silly holes where you can just hit it to a certain part of the green and it will automatically funnel to the hole.

Mr M - Thomas took 7 because he hit it in the thick stuff, then took two from a bunker, then missed a 3 foot putt.  Can't blame the course for that.  Day has hit bad shot after bad shot. Might be a shame for his backers but he's a known inaccurate driver so you get what you pay for.

I see on the usopen.com website tracker Justin Rose is 14' 12" from the hole.
Perhaps they could round that off to 15' 0"?

Been watching for around 6 hours,Red button and Live....Think it looks like a tremendous test,Greens look in great nick,Just cannot see what people are getting at about the course,bad shots costly,good shots rewarded.
If it blows and greens get mega fast/firm it may get scary but it isnt right now. Plenty good scores out there,early and late....

It's refreshing to see poor tee shots punished - we have just got used to seeing the pros smashing a birdie chance on to the green from what should be rough on the regular tour. No point in tuning in to the majors if they don't punish errant shots.
