Has everyone recovered from last nights dramatics?
I mean to say, lb for lb, what other sports can compare with the sheer, nail-biting excitement of golf?
Anywhoooo, onwards and upwards to this weeks renewal of the St Jude Classic.
I see my dear friend Rickie at the top of the betting, and surely, surely to goodness, the lad has to go close here?
Scotty played well enough last week, and you'd like to think he'd be in the hunt as well.
Big Phil played well here last year too.
For the minute though, let's just hold fire until the Market forms, as some of those early prices are abysmal, IMHO.

Tough one to mark up this week. Nobody really jumps off the page, Koepka great course form but given his difficulties in getting to the winners circle his price is low. Traded Stanley, Murray and Henley and of the market leaders it has to be ole mate Ponce. So I'm with Dick Turpin across the board 
Ponce's decent showings recently at The Masters and Players were both the second legs of back to back weeks, after the stinker first round last week hit enough good shots to take some mojo here, lacklustre field helps.

I was going to add Lovemark to my team of Rickie, Scotty & Big Phil, but as he's fallen by the wayside, it's just the Three off the tee, for me, you see.
Not much to inspire towards the top end of the market, threw a couple of darts earlier in the week at Schaufele and Estes, although since then the prices have contracted a bit.
my hospital appointment has been postponed so ill be around so after looking at things agin i have gone for BigPhil, he has great form here and has been playing quite well recently and is due for a win or a close call so putting all those things together i think 18/1 is a price worth taking

even tho i seem to be getting in a nice position with Phil playing well i am also backing Charl as if hes on song he could open up a nice lead this evening and trade quite low and even if he only plays ok he should still be thereabouts goiing in to the weekend and having both him and /Phil on my side cant be bad.

Why can't Phil ever finish off a good round? Injury / age taking it's toll?
Backing Phil is like shifting a 'big' bridesmaid, he's not called 'lumpy' for nothing. I have him in a match bet with Scott and it is like pulling my own teeth.
Very dodgy looking front five, seems tailor made for a bolter. The number could be a little as -11, so we probably look all the way down to the 4 under group.
I'll go 5 way playoff off -9, you get a gimme bird on 16 and you give it back (and more sometimes) on the last two. I think that the 'dynamic' of this course is brilliant and more courses should be like it. I bet you can't guess the winners of the two tournaments before 12:00 I'll go..............

Phil to make a charge and keep going tdy. Only 4 back amongst a bunch of non entities, won from 6 back a few times. Looked great til the last 2 ysdy when commentator mug put the curse on him, all putts on mute tnte for me, I'd like to strangle those mugs, no need to say anything when lining a putt up.
If we have a leaderboard this tight next Sunday it'll be a lot of fun. Chuck a dart at any of at least 20 guys.
Early birdie for Phil as he attempts to mount an early charge before being inevitably derailed by a series of sloppy errors on the back side.
On the easy first 3 holes I make it the final 4 groups made 1 birdie between them, and Crane gave his straight back. Not a great effort.
