Just had a little nibble @ 75s for the U.S. Open.

first bet of the week is 2 points eachway on Spieth, he seemed to play better last week once he got comfortable with the putter again, his stats for 10-15 feet putting are appalling this year and has certainly held him back, if he can sort that issue out he will be back to being a danger every week.

Dont think will play any easier than this.Yet some scoring horrendous,and from good players.....Can really firm up here and then if a breeze let the carnage commence!

Beauty of this course, play well you can go low, play badly can shoot a hatful - ideal for a tournament course.  -8 leading and +8 last, perfect symmetry.

I said a few weeks ago Rahmbo had to tone it down a tad chaps! Do we not feel he does still? Hes playing great golf week in week out,yet tearing himself apart every poor putt/shot!

Just thing hes turning himself inside out every week,if he chilled out a bit he would do even better than he is!And he is already doing remarkably well!

Does seem a touch fiery but we saw the same temper from Spieth the first couple of years, and it cost him a few times.  Spieth has cooled it a touch with experience and Rahm likely will too.  It does get annoying though when these guys act like the world is ending after one bad shot.

If it wasn't for Wee Rickie that would HAVE been a complete disaster!

this is such a random tournament, literally have no idea what someone is gonna shoot could be -5 could be +5. Seems such a fine line on this course between a great score or a disaster,there is no just plodding around and scraping by here.

this isnt the course where you want to start having a round when you are choking, it could be disasterous. Though would make for a more interesting tourney.The winning score could easily be -12 if people start getting jittery when hitting the top as the end gets nearer so i think there is still alot of drama left in this.

I have decided to do a bit of what is probably a total waste but given the strange scoring i have backed summerhays. I think 80/1 for someone in his position could be great value  by the end of the week. Im sure many will disagree and think i have lost my mind

i have no idea why i said 80/1 for summerhayes it was 48/1. and i also did him at 5/1 to be leader without dufner after round 2. so im hoping he doesnt have a meltdown.

I did not do Bubba. Didn't get involved apart from Ponce, traded JT after the third round so he is my only hope of a win here. Craziest tourney of the year thus far, happy to sit this one out and just hope JT gets there.

Lots over par, similarly lots well under par,huge swings available if leader comes back!

i quite fancy summerhayes to get it done, it just seems one of those weeks where strange things happen, like all the big guys having strange rounds aong other things. Like when Bowditch won,some journeyman to just have one of those weeks when it all comes together and they just keep getting pars and up and downs and just making the birdies on the par 5's etc. I think Summerhayes will just fairway and geen it all the way to the end probably finishing on -15 with 2nd getting to -13.
