Agreed.  Cannot access previous final leaderboards from Wentworth.

Found a round about way of accessing relevant info, but it's still a nuisance!

Major improvements are sorely needed.

Why does every website have to be "improved" with lots of pictures?
The BBC and the Racing Post went that route.
I prefer something plain, detailed, and navigable.

So ,after betfair, probably the four sites I use(d) most often have now been,ahem,"upgraded"...racing post- just about bearable...sporting life- like something designed for a child,useless...pgatour- see racing post and now the European tour- such an abomination words fail me....the most important function on a golf website surely has to be the leaderboard page...on the android phone app you can now see about four players on screen at a time including a tiny photo that you'd need a magnifying glass to be able to see...they really are absolutely feckin clueless

And they get paid to design these.Remarkable.I have 12 players on screen leader board, scrolling down will be my main task today.

The first is playing long ,20 minutes long so far.

Leader board not loading for me.As already said they have had weeks to unveil this crap and make sure it works.The tour is almost finished before this.

The European Tour clearly have no interest in being associated with a functioning, easy to use, intelligent website. They are pathetic.

Noticed when you click on Leaderboard that this script is causing the delay -  cdns.eu1.gigya.com.

Here's the nauseating PR guff I found on the Gigya.Com website:

That's the last time I go anywhere near the European Tour website.

I thought the usual way IT people worked was to have a "sandbox" where they made changes away from the main system and tested before going live.
If they were selling stuff you would be certain it would work.  Have you ever seen an online shop that didn't take your money?

the site is also slowing the rest of my pc down loads, as soon as i closed the window all my streaming video links became smooth again so i cant even leave the page open in the background to use for checkups, its a joke.

Surprised I got a reply although it does not answer what I asked.

It would seem that someone has made a start on righting wrongs...nordea masters leaderboard working pretty well on android tablet now...silly little photos gone, scorecards available by clicking players name and 20-odd names visible at a time...just need to put previous tournament history somewhere easily accessible and we'll be getting somewhere

ive got leaderboard, but no hole by hole

leaderboard seems good but keeps refreshing and sometimes goes and i am left
with features, ....

better than last week and only one advert !

thanks!! not sure how I missed this thread but haven't used the  europeanttour site for a couple of weeks solely because betting on the last two tournaments was relatively straightforward for me as I am a horses for courses bettor

I was trying to see if Canizares had any course form in Austria - despite his 2 tour wins, there was no stats available about him

Amateur hour.

Alejandro has never played the course in Austria and his last 8 weeks on the Euro Tour read 30,mc,dnp,dnp,dnp,mc,29,48th and before that wd & 60th. (only entered 7 outings this season and forced to withdraw from the Golf Sixes due to an ongoing injury. He did get a new set of Ping i200 irons custom built for him at the Nordea.

Wonder what the reason was for removing the players stats from the site. It's not like they had a hugh amount of stats on it in the first place. Just the main ones but they did come in handy when looking for keys to tournaments. The main site for european golf should have players stats. It's very poor on their part.

Maybe send an email and copy this thread to them for feedback.

So it is.  I'd stopped using it.

To all fans of the European Tour,

You will notice this evening that we have reverted back to the old style and design of our website and app.

I have been disappointed with the functionality of our new platforms since they were relaunched and I completely understand the frustration many of you have shared with us.

I was hopeful the technical issues we faced were behind us, but having monitored our website and app closely they are clearly not, which is why we have taken action.

You, the fans, are vitally important to the European Tour and our players. I want to make your experience – whether in person at our tournaments or on-line – the best it can possibly be.

We have listened to your feedback and we appreciate all of you who took the time to contact us. We took that very much into consideration when taking this step.

You should know we will continue to work behind the scenes, reviewing the future direction of our website and app, but nothing will be done until we are 100% confident, both from a technical and a design perspective.

Seriously guys, how difficult can it be? I do think, however, that Pelley means to improve things and will be cracking a few heads together as I write. It really shouldn't be too much to ask to have a site that offers similar functionality and features to the PGA tour site. Should it?
