A tournament match bet is a head to head market. The rules are perfectly clear, you were settled correctly with a loss. Very unlucky, but Betfair have done nothing wrong. You can't cancel the outright market because one player withdraws. If you want to lay the field stick to horses where you are protected with the reduction factor.
