Jordan Smith has been in the money in seven of eight starts in his rookie campaign. That includes solo third in January’s SA Open and T6 in the Qatar Masters. Dylan Frittelli has seven rounds in the 60s on his last eight laps of Pretoria CC. They’ve helped him to T14 (2016) and T10 (2015). As well as having the course form, his current form takes the eye too with a T16 in last week’s Joburg Open. Thomas Aiken makes his debut at the Tshwane but he knows the course well from his Sunshine Tour days and in events held there from 2005-2010 he posted 9-3-2-34-6-9-3. Dean Burmester big-hitting local man showed has been a factor when the European Tour has visited his homeland and has an excellent record in this event with T4 last year and T3 in 2015. George Coetzee has been a member at Pretoria CC since the age of 10 so was a hugely popular winner when landing the trophy here in 2015. He was T14 when defending 12 months ago and also runner-up when it held the Vodacom Origins – Pretoria on the Sunshine Tour in 2011 so his last three results here are 14-1-2. He’ll return on the back of T7 in last week’s Joburg Open where he charged through the field Sunday with a closing 65. Jaco Van Zyl finished T10 and T15 the last two years is the highest OWGR ranked player in the field but is on the subs bench this week.

Before you do the scores El B Mighty picks for Tshwane Open was timed at 0738 The first tee time was in fact 0440 on Thursday He will I assume gain by having automatic picks given to him He now has Burmester 16/1!! He is now waiting for a possible double with several other players As we slide further into the mire

13 of you have Dustin Johnson to win the WGC Mexico Championship, but nobody in the top 5 of the overall standings picked him.
7 of you have Justin Thomas, including dukeofpuke in 2nd overall. With x2 points for the WGC, we might just see a new leader. If he wins!
