I suggest Fitzpatrick for Kaymer the only change for the morning.

Drop Westwood, Rose, Kaymer

I would not play Westwood and Kaymer tomorow.
Rose will play all day. Stenson will be rested pm in place of Chris Wood.

My choices would be the three pairings who won in the fourball section, and put out the rookies that didn't play.
Keep it simple.

In any case it's always sensible in a 36 hole day to play foursomes before lunch.

Don't think he should have split Rose and Stenson - good that all players will have played before the afternoon fourballs though, he can go strong this afternoon and try to regain some momentum - I dont like the way the pairings have shapen up, but then I thought yesterday mornings foursomes were perfect for Europe when they were drawn

Conclusion : I know f all

Mickelson/Fowler 6/5 v Mclroy/Pieters 4/6
Snedeker/Koepka 4/5 v Stenson/Fitzpatrick 1/1
Walker/Zachary 4/5 v Rose/Wood 1/1
Reed/Spieth 4/6 v Garcia/Cab Bello 6/5

Not been a tie yet so law of averages says one is nailed on here somewhere! My banker here is Phil and Rickie,I'd have them favourite.Pieters is more a fourball player so would have kept this partnership for the afternoon.Last night it seemed one was out of each hole and they dovetailed well.
Sneds/Koepka also strong, see them winning handy too.Rose all over shop yesterday so lots of pressure on rookie Wood, that is another win for the U.S..Fancy the last match to be the half,Cab was one of the players of the day yesterday, looks very much the game of the day this.

3.5/0.5 USA my prediction.

I think he has got the pairing right this morning & don't expect Europe to gain less than 2 points - hopefully 2.5 or more

We didn't perform at all well in the foursomes yesterday but I just feel the pairings look more comfortable & hopefully they gel together in this alternate shot format - I wouldn't play Westwood or Kaymer today as both look desperately short of form

I'd have gone like this........
stenson/ willet
mcilroy/ fitzpatrick
garcia /bello
rose/ westwood

I would ask McIlroy to carry Wood in the afternoon.  I'd send Kaymer out to buy groceries for the team and I would send Andy Sullivan with him to carry the bags.Laugh
