Maybe time for Sky sports commentators to admit he was right. Watching PGA golf all year the shouts of mashed potato and get in the hole , even after a drive on a par 5 are constantly irritating This week we have had the same. Somebody regularly shouting for a cheeseburger after each drive for example but much worse I suspect has not been picked up by the microphones and has upset Rory in particular. The commentators are obviously getting frustrated by the idiots doing the shouting but just laugh it off as too much being drunk. Maybe a case of not being able to say exactly what they think in case they damage their lucrative coverage contract!!

but yes both tour authorities need to consider long bans for the culprits , and like horse racing . BAN the alcohol!!!

they won't ban alcohol - all the big sporting events realise the profits they can garner from the punters - best we can hope for is better stewardship / marshalls to try & control folk
