Yep the site has occasional issues but maybe the bigger problem is that in the early years we all could punt big time without responsibilities...our generation has maybe lost that time and that has affected liquidity and the forum comments...10 years back there would be us tour commentary on here from a helpful bf sky punter with easily 1000 posts...unfortunately bf wants sportsbook plums now...

The place is utter garbage. Years ago, I would have 20 or more bets a day. These days I only come on here about once every month. Site problems, ridiculous charges, pony prices on sportsbook. Just don't get it.

betfair remains the revolution in my punting experience
. in australia it is miles ahead of any other betting agency, maybe down on promos but i always see the world in the way that u get nothing for free. I still love the old site and hope it remains in service .other agencies rely on aesthetics and promos, betfair should just stick to speed and simplicity. Betfair has even forced other agencies into cash out options to compete with the lay option. However these other agencies throw up insane cashout penalties in price and pace. In my opinion if you are betting on sport straight out,win or place in horse racing, betfair remains untouchable. betfair ,as an exchange site, has not been challenged. Quaddies, trifectas, spotrsbook etc ,to my mind, was never a reason to punt with betfair. i still cannot believe the pace with which the site works in the run.Betfair is not everythinge, but what is.An expectation for a site to be everything will only mess with its D.N.A ,that which makes it different .in my waffling opinion betfair remains what it was,at least in the area in which it grabbed me long ago |
