early scoring is indeed very good, -39 for 166 holes played! yesterday it was about -16 for 163 holes played

The BBC excel themselves again. Moan about funding etc.
Last day of the Open, coverage starts six hours after the start of play. Two repeats, two nonsense programs and the news. which is on the News Channel anyway. 'Sounds of the 80s' on the red button. The mind boggles.  |

Even when the beeb click into gear it'll probably be half an hour before we see any live golf after the the producer has indulged himself in musical montages & various trips down memory lane.theres been criticism about sky getting hold of the open,but im sure had they got the rights this year we would have been able to watch live golf all morning.whats the point of the red button if they arent gonna use it for something like this?

Staggered to see the start time for live coverage ,every chance the Open winner will be underway in his round before the 2 PM tv start.
Three Red Button channels ran for the Glastobore .......but not one for The Open . |
