Thoughts on the course Rhino? I like it wouldn't want to see courses like this every year but definitely makes a change from the norm
Prefer the likes of Oakmont, Olympic and Merion happy. I think it would make an excellent location as a Call of Duty multiplayer area though, the mounds, deep bunkers, moving and static trains. Would be superb.
It is what it is, I like that they attempt to bring new courses into the rotation to keep it fresh and that they take it to public courses. The atmosphere at Torrey Pines and Bethpage for their Opens was electric. Love the idea that Joe Average can go and play a US Open course.

It scares me to think about how much money I've burned down the years backing 1000/1 hackers who make an early birdie.
the switching par thing is ridiculous. Its not been as bad as i feared.

Must have MW, can't remember anyone getting seriously in it. Think I backed Dufner big at 1000 years ago before he was on the main tour and he contended for a while, but no matter how scattergun I am I never get the one that contends.
speith is the best in the world and his caddy knows the course backwards

these greens are just not fit for play.top players failing to touch the hole from 4 feet says it all

Fair play to the guy, but he'll never make it to the PGA Tour let alone make it to the weekend in an event. If he'd started 10 years earlier maybe a chance.
I have followed his story since he started, its online as "The Dan Plan", he has very little ability and will be interesting to see if he can get to scratch, he has shown great determination.
Tiger needs to try the 10'000 hour plan.That or retire quickly.
The greens are hellish.....fast.....and the wrong bounce can make the ball go into places you don't want to go to.

It now dawns on me that the round won't finish till 3 am UK time. I thought the January tournies in Hawaii were bad enough, then i realised the clock going forward in March is to blame.

95% of the golfers are 'maggot' when anyone put cash on them.
If the sun starts to shine at any point this course is going to be borderline unplayable
It's ok seeing these crazy golf shots occasionally but it's every fecking hole and becoming boring for me.
