The worst course in the world for watching golf unless you have a seat in the stands at the greens.
 In addition, The R&A (The Rotten & Affluence Golf Club) are charging an incredible £70 for daily tickets (Purchased before 31 May) and £80 on the day.  The greens on the final day at Muirfield 2 years ago were empty and the Scottish public are expected to boycott the event in even larger numbers. Would not dream of paying those sums particularly on a glorified outdated pitch and putt course. |

Sadly agree. The R&A have become far too greedy with their asking price for The Open over the last decade. Far too keen to court the IOC and now it seems their marriage with Sky Sports has been consummated with advertising Open packages on their new favourite channel. |

Totally agree. The Open is an absolute rip off. I'll be heading down to Gullane for the Scottish Open though. Half the price and closer to home. Played Gullane last month in the winter league. Freezing temperatures and 45mph winds. I hope the pro's get better weather come July!!

its an awful course full stop , hate it, wish it was taken off the rota but sadly will never happen
