He could definately be a factor at the Open this year, last time played at St Andrews he was second and reckon will be his best hope to break his Major duck.

maybe, but been close before on more tham one occasion and at 48 i think it`s worth a punt, i think he has a better chance than shorter priced players and he`s double the price of Tiger. He may be ready to join his mate Darren Clarke in the winner`s enclosure. I think of the 4 majors its probably his best chance.

He could win an Open a la Darren. Probably won't, but could. And if he does, that'll be about it I reckon. Will never win after just like Darren, and Phil it seems.

only way i could see him winning one is if he posts a score and it gets handed to him by the leader(s) like ben curtis or geoff ogilvy. no way can he win from the front

FLJ would have to hit 72 GIR to win a major because his short game is not top-level (regardless of what Mark Roe says) and his putting when the pressure is on is woeful - hardly ever gets it past the hole
