I like the look of Thomas Aiken here. 125/1 E/W seems fair. 15th here last time, and likes to fade the ball, so I assume that suits on a Monty design.
Also taken Richard Sterne 100/1 E/W Manassero looks tempting at 510s on here, but the fella's been playing like a dog, so maybe I'll pass. If it gets bigger, then I may have a few bob on. |

Poulter, will do for me in the Turkish Airlines Open at 27.0, I thought he did alright in the last event a few days ago in Hong Kong.

westwood 28/1 ew (layable at 7.2 on the place if you so desire) money back if 2nd or 3rd with paddy power, all in don't seem the worst bet.

I'm having a serious punt on this one, Nicolas COLSAERTS @ 33/1 First Round Leader
As much as the stats tell you there is not really a big bias for the longer hitters, I believe it could be much more beneficial than it reads, A good few longer hitters last year did not perform and Last years rain just prior to kick off saw this play very soft and made everything a bit easier for everyone, But the weather if it sticks to forecast will make for an interesting event. There's been no rain at all in November, so i assume it's fast - NOW the first rain of the month comes on FRIDAY .and SATURDAY I'll be backing him for the event as well, but i'm taking a punt that with the extra roll on Day 1 it screams long hitter for 1st round leader, with the fact Colsearts is THE BEST IN THE WORLD - Tee to Green at the moment IMO and his new found putting skills = Biggest punt of the year for me. As for the also rans lol this course has 5 par 5s and a big score on them is essential, thats not to say u have to be long - YOU DONT, plenty of them were average off the tee on the board last year, and in all honesty i could probably write a compelling case for over half the field. My opinion is the markets being very brave, There is alot of players 200/1 + who are not no hopers and that's where i'm going - 20 runners - MIN 220/1 - £2.50 win on each here, play about if they reach single figures in the betting, couple still to match, i'll stick em up later. Day 2 may add a few nearer the top of market if it gone t!ts up. |

Doesn't look like it's going to be the glorified putting competition it was last year which is good.Seems like the rough is going to be longer and the greens firmer,so it will be interesting to see how the course plays under these different conditions.
Gone for the following four players... Wiesberger - E/W @ 33s Koepka - E/W @ 33s Wattel - E/W @ 40s Zanotti - Top 5 @ 25s,Win Only @ 210. |

vegas, i quite like
your reasons for your selections in general but i cant quite see how you can read suggest otherwise. a long hit bias into this when the stats (and you seem to be a stats man) suggest otherwise.all these pros get the scores they do with whatever tools they have, obviously extra distance helps but that's built into their results. i do think you research everything you do well and id assume you make a good% profit.good luck with youre bets this week, personally i find colsaerts a very frustrating player to back as he fritters shots away too often and is invariably too near the front of the market fot someone who rarely pleads guilty to winning cue him running away with it this week ![]() |

cashed out on Ian Poulter at 5.5.
I think this remains quite an open event and it may take a very low score to take it. |
By:
Had another bet, Jiminez, at 15.5, in my opinion he's one of the best front runners in the business.

Sadly i really cannot see poulter giving this one back! bit boring but all through career he's been good with a lead, never throws in the howlers some do after a good round, canters to the win imo - i have backed him for my stakes back £150 @ 6/4 ish.
Means book reads - poults - wins a tenner - field loses 300 - my selections win between 0 and 1500 quid, ormsby and otto being my main challengers. |
By:
Round 3 in same 3-balls.Poulter out at 8-50am.
By:
will they go into monday 2 get the 4 rds done?
poults 6 ahead BUT most bookies only 4/7 should really be skinnier with that lead & a pack hardly replete with winners suggests 2 me not necessarily a done deal tho' it could well be anyway he'll prob win but i've had 2 lay him so much 4 sunny Turkey! |
By:
the dazzler needs water wings lol
By:
Organiser said more bad weather forecast. They can lose another 3 hours and still finish 72 tomorrow.
By:
What is it about this time of year that gets Poulter going?
By:
Yes if they stay in same 3 balls all four days. Has that ever been done before?
By:
Is there a finer sight in golf than pouter falling apart ?
By:
euro tour says poulter was 6 ahead ?
if so 1.6 seems to have been a decent price, but ...hey ho....thats golf |
By:

By:
