1. EUR
2. USA 3. USA 4. Tough one....a draw. |
By:
USA
USA USA EUR 3-1 to USA for me after the morning... |
By:
Don't like the pairings of Eur other than 1st one.
Eur USA USA USA |
By:
are you serious? 4-0 Europe. Watson has taken a huge risk!!!
By:
Why?!!
By:
happy enough with those. Expect Europe to be ahead going into the foursomes.
By:
usa to win 3rd one
3 1 europe |
By:
Round 1 to USA.
By:
Not a fan of what Watson has done to be honest.
Stenson/Rose and Garcia/Rory have the look of bankers. Spieth and Reed two rookies together seems a risk. I like Fowler and Walker though, thats my only bet of tomorrow mornings matches. |
By:
similar thinking to me. The Mcilroy/Garcia and Stenson/Rose matches look bankers.
By:
putting 2 rookies together would seem really silly - unnecessarily so, with so many experienced players in the team. I expected to see Victor taking his bow as well, fourballs would seem to be right up his street
By:
USA
USA EUR USA imo |
By:
spieth and reed to win imo. 3 1 usa
By:
surely fourballs are ideal for rookies
leaving foursomes to more experienced players ? |
By:
i agree donny
tie usa usa tie |
By:
I would have left Poulter for the foursomes, Westy for the fourballs with less pressure on his putting, Victor for the 4 balls, Gallagher for the foursomes.
Think Fowler pairing is nailed on. Think Mickelson pairing is excellent value as is the Speith pairing. I only really like the look of the Rose pairing and think they represent real value @ evens with PP doing the lead by 12th & money back if fail to win. |
By:
Poulter and Gallagher is masterstroke or a huge mistake. Do well to not be down after day 1
Tie USA Europe Europe |
By:
P & G
huge mistake |
By:
Garcia and McIlroy would be 2/5 in my book, 10/11 is huge
By:
On world rankings and recent form , Rory and Sergio are streets ahead . Think they represent a 4/6 shot .
By:
putting rory and sergio out last is an odd one, less time for lunch as surely they will be playing foursomes too
will mcginley play them 4, or slip them in at 3 in afternoon ? |
By:
europe
europe win/draw europe win/draw europe 4 x win trebles with b/f sportsbook. Can't see Europe losing any of the fourballs. |
By:
US look good value to me in all games except the Poulter game. Major form question marks about everyone in that game but surely Poulter's record, Gallacher course experience and home crowd make them big faves rather than marginal faves
By:
No mistakes have been made yet, nd there is no such thing as a banker. This is the Ryder Cup. This is matchplay. Anything can happen. How people can think Rose/Stenson is a banker against Bubba/Webb is beyond me. Bubba is a freak.
By:
Agree with Rhino too, can't have Rose/Stenson as bankers against Bubba and Webb. I can only see Europe winning the Rory and Sergio game. I am really disappointed with the European pairings to be honest.

By:
colldog you is clueless.

By:
Clueless in what way then? For having an opinion? Or are you going to point out where I am so drastically wrong??
By:
I will admit I am a mug if europe go into lunch behind..bit of fun mate
By:
Expect the ribbing back then if Europe do go in to lunch behind
Sadly I am at work all day tomorrow but will remember for when I get home ![]() |
