Time flies doesn't it
Good thing about the golf, is that the off season isn't really the off season. still plenty to look forward to after this is done. |

Already traded Spieth, smashed the 25s on offer, prob should have set the lay lower than 22. Taken Kaymer at 32 as well and laid Rory to get things going.

have a sneaky thought G.Woodland is about ready to string 4 rounds together - unsure about what price tho, have nibbled at the 80 what showed up on here, but as i say, what price he is at the off is puzzling me.

Will Dustin Johnson get some money out of this even if he does not turn up ( Fedex money ) ? Plus if Dustin does not play , Woodland cant win the Fedex ( technically anyway given the points structure ) , assuming Chris Kirk tees up .
See nobody has priced up the Fedex on oddschecker . Waiting for us to set the market presumably . laid a few last night for that , but the sums are complicated re odds . |

Perfect for you - your time-zone but not mine. ![]() ![]() |

A quick look through who can win the Fedex.....
No. 7 Jim Furyk • Wins the TOUR Championship And ... • No. 1 (Chris Kirk) finishes in a three-way tie for 2nd or worse • No. 2 (Billy Horschel) finishes T-2 or worse I can picture the final season jubilation and somewhat poetic that Furykev wins the whole damn thing after so many near misses. |

Always scared to back Bubba pre tournament cos hes so unpredicatable and you dont know what mood he's going to be in. Making an exception this week and taking the 22.
|
|
By:
I wouldn't touch 22 for Blubba with a bargepole.
|
|
By:
Why not?

No 1000 odds this week.

Nibble of Matsuyama at 50's

Good point, well presented!! Hopefully the Bubba capable of destroying any course turns up this week. Praise the lord!

Hole 5 par 4 520 yards.........looks long but downhill....can see most drives being 350+ yards.
Hole 6 par 3 209 yards.......a long par 3 is difficult but this one is surrounded by water......expect plenty of 'splash'. Hole 9 par 5 600 yards....very much depends on which way the wind is blowing, deep bunkers in the front of the green makes getting a birdie challenging. Hole 18 par 3 235 yards.....this could make or break whoever is leading and whoever is 1 shot behind. Hopefully there's no leader, 2 or more shots ahead on the 18th. |

12.5 for Jimbo who the hell is taking that?

Not me.

Had a bit on Henley because unlike Bubba, he is unpredictable but at three figure odds is worth taking as we saw at the Barclays what he can do when he gets hot.
Not really sure who else to back at the minute. As others have highlighted, Woodland, Kaymer and Matsuyama are all interesting. The latter 2 more so but again like a lot of players they are showing signs of fatigue at the end of a long season so it may pay to go with the player in form. Billy Ho does tend to string a lot of good performances out in a row so the 25s on him winning this week could be worth taking. |
|
By:
Just wonder if Billy may have lost the edge after the win last week. It seems to happen a fair bit after they get over the line. His wife is expecting soon as well, not this week but soon. Given he just got a win and a baby on the way his head may not be 100% in the game this week.

Did a small tarde of Furyk and taken profit, $40 to be re deployed on a higher priced runner, thinking Rose or Bubba. Had most of Scott stake matched at 13, added Na at 140, had most of Kuch matched at 40, laid Hoffman at 65.

By:
If Bubba could sort his putting he'd but favourite for this in my eyes, Tee to green he's kicking fook out of any course out there.
PROBLEM IS, IT'S WEEKS NOW AND HE LOOKS NO NEARER TO SORTING HIS PUTTING WOE'S. I backed him last week as my main selection have no idea what to do with him now?!?! |
|
By:
Bubbas putting is a worry, no doubt about it mate. However, his ridiculous length more than cancels that out imo. Just got a sneaky feeling he's going to destroy the course this weekend.£650.
Same amount on Fowler as well. Looking forward to this one. |
|
By:
I'm going to risk sounding like a complete idiot now, but in my eyes everybody is more than capable of winning so the value is in the big prices (100+).
I know nothing compared to you guys, and if I was more knowlegeable I probably wouldn't think like this??? |
|
By:
Putting is a funny thing, comes off and on and now way to tell when. Rory has putted great these last few months, then 4 puuts from 4 feet and anther 4 putt the next day. No one can see that coming. If you fancy him vegas do it, reckon he's a good selection, the guy is a star and has his game back.
|
|
By:
Go for it sheppy. I've added Na and Todd, prob won't win but both go ok on tough courses and can easily give a good trade even if a win is maybe asking for much. Not beyond the realms though thats for sure.
|
|
By:
surprised no mention of mr hoffman - riding the wave onto a course which imo will suit his eye judging from what iv'e seen - 62 then a 63 got to be worth a wee punt @ 65 +

Thanks rhino!
I was expecting a downpour of critism, but it's good to know that someone I respect has got some of my golfers! Hope is what I desperately need! ![]() |

got to stick with bubba although always a bit of an extra gamble given that he's totally mental, but i think that's factored into the price a bit! i'll be praying to the baby jesus this week

Well teams done - no adding players this week have took six from the off
Morgan Hoffmann 65 - must be buzzing and judgeing from the last two weeks he thrives on it Gary Woodland 76 - just think one day very soon he will put 4 rounds together, playing awesome in snatches Ryan Palmer 50 - stake trade already in system - top form bound to minimum half in price Geoff Ogilvy 75 -just have a feeling he likes the course, if he had not royaly screwed the par 3s in 2011 could have won Zach Johnson 48 - consistently performs to a good level here, been sneaky finding some form Bubba Watson 20 - best player in the world including rory and tiger once every 6 months, this is the time! |

Think Day's got a problem with his back, surprised he hasn't drifted more.
|

By:
it is bad form that public is left in dark regarding a players fitness/wellbeing especially eg day retiring after 18 holes with a back injury.............pga have some article on bubbas fc*KINg underwear or something.
after 3 weeks of hitting the crossbar am a bit gutted i missed the boat on ROSE as think everything is in his favour this week matched at 23 presently 17................doesnt kick off till 4.45 so as really fancy illonen for klm so have lumpy eway double on so will probably see how miko is faring before tying up more cash. will throw few sheckels at henley at 100 which is fair price for inform player |

"So it's very difficult golf course for me," Watson said. ![]() ![]() |
