Very disappointed. ![]() ![]() |

No Rose, Garcia, Gmac or Casey.

First Bet FURYK - wont be greedy, be out at 10, but the way he's playing right now it seems a safe bet to me, couple of copy n pastes from PGA site, impressive stuff thought i'd share.
71.10% Scrambling percentage this season by Jim Furyk,But get this: Furyk's mark 4,1/2% better second place this season (Kevin Na) Second-best mark in TOUR history right now. Only Greg Norman's 1993 72.80 170 top-10 finishes for Furyk in 522 events,(32.5 percent) Tiger Woods owns 185 top 10s in 316 events (58.5 percent); Phil Mickelson 173/505 (34.3 percent); Vijay Singh 181/544 (33.3 percent) and Ernie Els 125/384 (32.6 percent). |

so with duffs and dusty out aswell - field of 94 play - they dont top it back up to the 100 mark do they?
By:
No vegas, no top ups. You had to be in the top 100 to qualify, so they will go with 94. Off and away with Sneds, excellent record in Boston. Of all the birdie fest events, this is my fave, really enjoy it every year.
By:
just having 1st look. thing that stands out straight off is, it seems on paper like quite a long course but it also seems by the results driving distance is of no importance?!
By:
Throw the stat book out this week Vegas. They can all murder this course if playing well.
By:
Hmm - course form isn't going to get me very far, well not for the top boys as they all have some, rory won/stenson won/mickelson won/scott 3 top ten/day/sneds/furyk all multiple top tens.
By:
lol rhino had not seen post - yes rapidly coming to that conclusion lol - cheers mate
By:
Go back through the prior winners and have a look at their lead in form in the year they won. Think you'll find most were running hot, so current form is the place to go. Course can't defend itself against elite players in good nick.
By:
just wondering - whats the erm defination of a "scoring/birdie fest course" nowadays? because it's starting to seem they all are!!
last 8 events - owest winning score - 14 and that includes two majors!! |
By:
Don't think there is a set rule. For me, if you expect -20 or better, birdie fest.
By:
yeah, i suppose the amount of players getting into double figures is the key, can throw u off a little when 2 or three players runaway with it, well then if i throw the stats outa window wtf am i supposed to do the next 3 days!!
By:
See if you can go a few hours without backing another player vegas!
![]() It's SO easy to carried away isn't it??? I've got 4 so far which is going back on what I've said! No willpower - that's me! ![]() |
By:
so many of the top boys in good form gunna be a little easier for me, think my focus will be further down the betting order, very small win bets with bigger top 10 punts i suspect will be my play.
well at least for an hour or so ![]() ![]() |
By:
Looked at the photos of the course........rough looks punishing.
By:
if theres plenty of birdies unless donald duck has completly gone at the game 100 with books must be an insult
donald 100 hass 40 sned 40 j walker 40 deleat 50 all sj,s |
By:
Things are going quite well so far. Traded on 8 out of 10 golfers successfully.
This time last week it was something like 8 out of 30!!! ![]() |
By:
lol well done mate
![]() I haven't had a bet yet!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() well other than the furyk one already stated, sadly it isn't discipline lol, just the top ten layers on here are right tight gits as yet! I'm sure they will get there but everyone i want is under the books at the moment. |
By:
I've traded 25 players already! Mostly good so far
![]() |
By:
Agree about Donald. Great back to lay, plays the course very well.
By:
weather is forcast that there will be considerable winds friday/sat 15/20 knots with gusts of 25 knots with rain forcast sunday /mon .................i think with the shrorties there may be oopportunities to bet in running on the fancied golfers
the two i especially fancy and will try to get onside inrunning r day and rory the other stat im hearing is that the winner should be in tip top form but this effects the prices......so probably foolishly ignoring this have gone for value bubba @60s..............english @220..............horichel.......340 gd luck lads hopefully its a happy monday |

short-lived market love-affair with hunter mahan, on track to SP the same as last week.
By:
If I could understand the market I'd be a rich man!
David Hearn was something like 750 this morning. I thought "Nah, that'll go up..." |
By:
what's with the big els drift, around 30 points today
By:
It's amazing the effect one person can have on the market.
By:
McGirt as well, I could understand if it was players out of form but he's just been 8th and 5th
![]() |
By:
Talking about the market, people always want more don't they, including me.
If a player was 500 somebody would want 600. BUT... If the same player was 200, they'd be happy with 300! |
By:
Patrick Reed drifted as well...
By:
Had some trouble this week, was lucky to bail out of some bad moves at the same price went in at, wasted time and funds in the process. No harm done in the end, but nothing too special
. Rory +500 Ponce +220 Day +570 Spieth +1300 Sned +1395 Leishman +2150 Donald +3600 Harman +965 the field -100 |

gday all.
hey shep, there is one way to not back anyone every hour. go camping for a week at the most westernmost point of western australia with no internets .came back yesterday and thought yeah golf. then find out its fri start. blessing in disguise tho as it takes a day to adjust to civilisation. now i'm back. life goes on i see. and if you read my posts just prior to going camping on saturday, i now hate hunter mahan. just kidding. good on him - the prick. ![]() |
By:
That sounds great pokeron! What about the moon!
![]() I hate Hunter too! I was on Cameron! ![]() Good luck! ![]() |
By:
Everyone hates Hunter apparently, wins at 46, following week same field minus Rose, Garcia and the bottom 25 and he's off at 50.
Perhaps it was that 5 at the last. |
By:
Not strucj a blow yet.

Three quarters of mine haven't started yet and my book looks horrible already. Can't have Rory and Scot at the prices, so they'll probably finish first and second. Good luck with yours.
By:
Happy enough to start with a lay of Rory.
I'm not convinced about his motivation in tour events. It's Majors or nothing for the guy now. |
