Too late for jimbo to change. As rhino says fair play that he is so consistent still, but no longer a winner.

But Jim still has many more tournaments in him, by changing he has nothing to lose as he aint winning anyway. Perhaps he just believes one day it will click - I just cant see it.
Jimbo could win one soon as the field shrink every week. In a field of 30 he could be favourite.
i put a stat up a bit earlier, he's done very well, and thats final round stuff, but yeah suppose it'll be pi$$ing him off lately!!
I could still see Jim maybe winning at somewhere like Harbour Town where length means nothing. He is a plodder and has to play like one, hard to revolutionise your game at 44. If he does get a win again it will have to be at a track like HT that suits his game perfectly and evens the playing field between him and the younger guys. Hard for him to beat the young guys over 4 days on thesse mammoth tracks.

the last few holes when you know whos probably gonna win are so painfully slow. get it over already.

one of those nights where all the likely winners are the sort who rarely get it done , ie jim, Jason and hunter to a far lesser degree.one of em had to win and the one with fewer "scars2 did.jim was well just jim,day has a profile that says he should be winning medal comps but very very rarely does.oddly enuff Mahan has been rock solid un till he was more or less home and hit a couple of poor drives on 17 and 18 when obviously not under stress, probably just relaxed a shade too early.

im 53and my golf plods along at the same average level year after year( 14 handicap mainly cos im a shyte putter and always have been)

agreed,fantastic career wins bundles of money year in year out, but it must be grinding on him just a bit that he doesnt actually win the tourney now and again.

he also won fed ex playoffs 5/6 years ago nearly sure........5 mill after taxes in the bank...........fair enough finds it hard to shoot low sundays but always gives chance to green out...............guy i think is carrying major health warning is scott................current world no 2 plays subline golf than without warning throws in a shocking round............now know his putting isnt spot on at present but has thrown up some monumental calves past couple of seasons
bustino - i have thought about that one and the only sane conclusion is he has a twin brother, and sending the other out is a sting they've been using for years, they've billions.

cr@p here mate - altho took a stance on Day and saved myself from mega losses, but to to be fair he played well just mahan played better, so lucky really.

Minus £1.60. All because I missed the price on Mahan, 50/1 in the Racing Post. 36 on here on Thursday when I got around to backing at 12.36. Brilliant staking, £11.00 on the winner. £33.00 on Westwood, £12.00 on Boo Weekley. Enrolling for lessons tomorrow.

I think you've done well there Quincy to only lose £1.60. It's SO easy for things to go horribly wrong isn't it!
A few weeks ago when McIlroy won (Grrrrr!) I came off about £6 better which was unbelievable! I was set to lose about £80, but cos he got off to a bad start on the last day I backed him at odds big enough to make me a profit.
I hope this week makes up for last weeks disaster!
