With a high premium on putting this week I like Jimmy Walker and (gulp) Aaron Baddeley's chances this week.

Spieth 12/1 ( all around) - don't normally entertain these sort of odds but he has good vibes from 2010 and the Masters has clearly not affected him.
Cabrera 129/1 (here) - playing well at the moment and 12th last year on his first start here. Siem 399/1 (here) -one of the old Elliot angles about being inspired by a fellow countryman.

......in that case Bradley to beat Charl in a Tournament Match Bet at 1.83 with PP must be worth an interest!

Tight margin for layers this week, especially with Patrick Reed still to come out. If you spot value (and I'm struggling) then get on board while you can.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
By:
The short odds are very noticable this week. Golfers that were 500+ last week are now less than 100. It kinda makes it difficult for me to spot value.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

By:
I may have exaggerated a bit on the odds, but it's obvious that the field isn't in the same class.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
By:
I'd say last week's prices were the anomaly sheppy - such a class field. I know exactly how you feel though.

This is a tournament that I like (Partly because I was on Sang Moon-Bae at 150/1 last year) and I think you can find a bit of value.
Graeme De Laet should have the game for this course, then again 33/1 for a guy who is still yet to break his duck isn't great value in my eyes. Harris English on the other hand I would normally say was brilliant value in a field of this standard at 40/1. However his putting has just gone to pot of late and that is what is letting him down. I won't be backing him again until he shows some signs of life with the putter again. Ryan Palmer looks good value for me, his driving and putting are both of the standard required to win here. He will be my main ew bet of the week. Martin Kaymer looks good at 22/1 considering the form he was in last week. I know that players who won the week before are usually first to cross off the list but he played exceptional golf all weekend until the rain delay. This is a course he had a top 10 at last season and if he putts and drives as well as last week then he's going to go very close again.

Agree the prices are a little underwhelming but with 2 wins in the last 3 weeks and a place, i will be darned if one of these 3 guys doesnt win
Kevin Kisner 150/1 Jonathan Byrd 150/1 Justin Hicks 125/1

The PGA tour moves to Texas for its two week stint at Las Colinas followed by the Colonial and it is difficult to find a common theme for past winners at this weeks venue. Course form doesn't always seem to be important - in fact most recent winners were making their event debut. The one thing I think that groups players that do well here together seems to be the ability to play well in Texas.
Harris English is now a two time winner on the main tour both coming in the last twelve months. I am prepared to forgive his missed cuts at Sawgrass and Augusta and concentrate more on the consistent from he has shown the rest of the time. He did make his debut here last year finishing a respectable 17th after a great opening 64. He seems to be able to cope with the Texas winds as he has been 5th at Colonial and 2nd in the WNB Classic on the Web.com tour. The guy knows how to win and at 40/1 he is a decent price in this weeks field 0.75 ew 40/1 Steve Rawlings pointed out a link to results at Atlanta and the 2011 PGA Championship and the man who led going into the final round that week was Brendan Steele. He can certainly play well in Texas with a win and 4th in the Texas Open. He missed the cut on his only start here in 2012 but that came on the back of a poor week at Sawgrass where he has always missed the cut - until last week when he was 28th. I do think he is worth a small bet @ 100/1 - 0.2 ew and try and find a book with six places - he seems to have a liking for that position! The last two picks go to players who are making their debut at this weeks venue - firstly Paul Casey. He seems to be playing better at the moment and it's not like he has lost the winning vein totally as he did win in Ireland last year. He is certainly capable of winning in Texas - his only PGA tour win was in the Houston Open and he has also been 5th in the Colonial. I wouldn't be at all surprised should Kaymers win last week inspire him 0.35 ew 66/1 Last man in is a very leftfield pick but Brice Garnett seems to like playing in Texas - possibly because it's where he started his pro career in mini tour events. His best finish so far in his rookie season was 7th in Houston last month and he has also been 3rd and 9th in the WNB Classic. Worth a small bet at the price to cause a shock 0.1 ew 300/1 + 0.2 top 10 28/1

Discovered the reason the forum is very quiet these weeks. A few people sitting that their keyboardwaiting ti criticize instead of doing some research and help other forumites make a profit. 6 Each way wins and is it 9 each way cross doubles my competition picks. Thats 30 units I think. Keep it in small denominations. Make sure you get 6 places. Check oddschecker.

50s did seem generous, but it's hard to predict that kind of price demolition. It happened a couple of weeks ago with Rickie Fowler too. Can't remember the tournament but he dropped from 20-ish to 15s in the lead up to tee off.

Will Mackenzie was very noticable for me last week. He dropped from mid 400s to around mid 200s. I felt like I'd missed the boat.
