Placed a 20 ew bet at 80/1 1/4 odds 1st five. Tied for 3rd with four others. What are the returns? Every time I go to a bookies these days they don't have a clue so would like to help speed the process along....cheers

I make it 7 people for 4 places paid i.e. 1st, 2nd, 5 share 3rd = 7
Reduced stake at full odds Stake is £20 place x 4/7 = £11.42857 Winnings £11.42857 x 20 = £228.5714 Return is £11.42857 + £228.5714 = £240.00 |

1st and 2nd did not dead heat kincesm, they won outright, so should be excluded from the dead heat calculations I believe.
