Lads, Taking a group of 12 to Costa Del sol in October. Will be staying Marbella/Estepona region and due to play 3 courses. Have done a bit of research on-line and have inquiries in with a number of agents. Struggling to pick 3 courses. We have handicaps from 7 to 22. A budget of €200 - €250 to cover the 3 courses - would like to play one marquee course if possible. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. tia
you'll stuggle to get one of the top courses in that budget.
you'll have top that up by another 100
recommended; finca cortesin, san roque [old], sotogrande.the other "top" courses are far too pricey]
cheaper ones; marbella resort, aloha ][if you can get on], almenara.
one tip. if you go through a booking agency you normally save a few quid.

Monte Mayor was a course everyone should experience but it wasn't a great course. A tricked up experience and golf ball donation for sure but the stunning views and amazing greens (no one ever got up there to give it wear and tear) made it worthwhile as a one off.
