Golf settled incorrectly?? Jordan Speith top ten??

i had him top 5 £50 @13.5 received a return of £337.50 before commission. i thought u get 5 divided by 7 (actual top 5 with ties)= 0.71 multiplied by stake £50 = £35.71 multiplied by matched price 13.5= £482. Can someone explain why they settled £144 less than i worked it out to and half of what i would have got with no ties. maybe im being a bit thick but would appreciate someone taking the time to explain it to me. many thanks in advance.

Your settled correctly imp. 4 players share 2 places. Therefore you get paid to 2/4 or 1/2 of your stake. 25 at 13.5 = 337.50.
Clearly an error has been made for goalhanger, you should get on the phone.

I would have been delighted with 337.50. A birdie, birdie, birdie, eagle finish for Speith. My money would have been written off.

thanks for the reply pants.1st 2nd 3rd obviously not in deadheat. doh. your right i am pleased with result great finish from him just a shame he had one shocking rnd (3rd), although he did finish that rnd birdie birdie birdie. thanks again for your help and i hope goalhanger gets paid correctly as surely thats a straight winner.
