So let me get this straight, Howell was disqualified because the head cover on his driver made it a non conforming club?? Yet Tiger Woods earlier this year purposely improved his lie on the fairway but they deemed it's not sufficient enough for disqualification. That's one of the reasons a lot of people hate watching pro golf - the ridiculous rules and the huge subjectivity and favouritism of the officials.

Incorrect on both counts.

Any evidence that a lot of people hate to watch pro golf?

To be fair, I don't think any of the officials are favourites.

I would say there is very strong evidence that lots of people hate to watch pro golf the same way lots of people would hate to watch many other things.

it is hard to swallow when the rule book dicates Howell has to be DQ'd for what is essentially a piece of plastic falling off his driver whereas Woods wasnt DQ'd for deliberately dropping the ball in a place that he believed would help him.

I wonder who called the finding?

You put 658K on him to win?

Ridiculous DQ. If it was a correct interpretation of the rules then the rules need to be changed.
