Been playing for about 2 years myself. Hit a few scores in the 90's with my best being 94, mostly tend to shoot around the 100 mark. Game has came on canny the past 6 months or so, went from the average of 110 down to the ton mark. Most play around the Durham and Hartlepool area on pay as you play courses

I play off 5 and play in the north of Scotland play a lot of away opens elgin/moray/tain/fortrose/dornoch. spoilt for choice really, stopped playing when I was 16 and got back into it at about 22 and im the lowest handicap i've ever been (4.6 to be exact) would like to get to 4 by the end of the season.

12 h/cap playing @ north hants (Justin rose club).

Would be couple less if at another course (mate went from 11 at Guildford to 16 @ North Hants).

Huge weakness in my game is bunker play and very erratic putter :(

Cormac the more you aim left the bigger your slice will become one tip would be set up as normal and bring your right foot back a few inches which will help bring the club back on an inside plane (presuming your right handed).
Play of 6 myself play a lot of scratch cups along the east coast of Ireland
