Possibly +3's could make it by end of play, depending on course set up.
I need Sneds, Donald and Simpson to step forward this morning or I fear a reload happening Saturday morning, in fact I can hear the gun cocking already ![]() |

Some scorecard for Webb.Same amount of birdies as Adam had.

A bit of Horschel at 150s seems like a fair wager right now.

I thought I was in trouble until I read the last two pages of posts on the day 1 thread. Feel quite elated now, at least there some positive views on some of mine as one or two think some of my 1000 chances, of which I have plenty, could figure. Otherwise, I'll be joining Deplasterer in a reload. Have taken my stake out of Westwood, and one or two others. Might join therhino with Horschel. Good luck with yours.

do you think Luke Donald was the weakest ever number 1 ?

By:
Taken some 350s on Marcus Fraser.
Contemplating the Barnrat. |

Scott looked in total control of his game last night but thankfully the trophy is only handed out on the Sunday. Some juicy prices available at present for those at -1 to +2, picking the correct one(s) though easier said than done. I'll refrain until around 4pm & access the situation then, fancy a 66 from Sneds today mind.

still laughing at the tiger price.. will be 12.5 at start of play

Horrible day Q!
The list is endless of my runners getting into a really good position then falling away, Toms being the prime example. Will be chasing my tail for the next 3 days. |
By:
my forecast has the wind picking up slowly as the day goes on but it will be at it's strongest when everyone has finished

First day was a disaster for me, have Blixt at -2 and Fowler at Evens currently left. Need a miracle! At the minute Haas and Mahan seem to only real value. Anyone else see value out there?
By:
Walker at 1000 Batman. Had to top up. Agree on Haas, already made that move.
By:
Kaymer at 55. Laid Scott, Ww, and Jimbo at combined 3.15. We all know Westwood cant win, Jimbo doesn't win anymore, and although he won the Masters, Scotts collapse when he hit the front in British Open is very worrying. Not sure how he won the Masters now.
By:
Walker already over par today
By:
Scotts collapse at Merion far more impressive than Muirfield. Was second fave, trading at single figures in round 2 and then...
By:
You of all people maggot should not begrudge someone a 1000 shot
By:
Yeah, he has plenty of previous Rhino. Jim getting pretty handy at disappearing off leaderboards after a good first round too.
By:
Have the marquee groups been announced yet? I'm not sure they cover the same group twice, although Scott's group would be the sensible choice again
I'd like to see Westwood's group - Watson and Clark are still in with a shout, so could be good viewing |
By:
it's Scott etc
By:
Not at all, Rhino. Good luck with it.
By:
Cheers maggot, back to +1

Please God don't show Ww group. I don't know which one they showing, but in the Masters Jack would be correct in that they don't show the same group twice. But what they showed in the Masters I wouldn't have classed as the Marquee groups anyway.
By:
I was merely advising bruce, who was asking who the value was ?
I think that Marcus Fraser represents decent value. |
By:
All good Maggot. The 3 H's are value - Haas, Horschel and Hoffman. All under par, all solid prices. Certainly better value than Tiger anyway.
By:
It's scott group

That's another I looked at was Horschel rhino. Very good player when he is on it.
By:
Any leaderboard quicker than PGA site? They still haven't updated Jason Day first hole, 35 mins later, and obviously a bird from betting.
By:
yes, type in www. pga. com and use that leaderboard
By:
I continue to ignore J Day in the majors & there he is once again hovering around the lead. Bird from Simpson, no stupid doubles today please.
By:
Deplast you can only back Day in majors it seems.
By:
I know Rhino, that's the point, I know he hasn't got over the line yet but you would have made money trading him this past couple of years. Scott rightful fav here imo, of those near the top I would be wary laying him too much Callit.
By:
Awhh if Day wins this it'll break my heart! Backed him in quite a few tourneys including the US Open was on him for 5k ended up taking buttons out of him.

And day joins the party at the top, that's the start I wanted from Sneds
