I am a big fan of the fella. One of the best pundits around.

FWIW I find ~Monty quite endearing and enjoy his analysis. HE was a pratt often as a player, I witnessed a classic sulk @ Wentworth once.

bollocks - a multiple major winner is always going to be the pick over someone who can't play himself into the team.  Monty is a dick and very bad pundit but can't be criticised over anything to do with the Ryder Cup.
