I've backed him, please give me my money back.Backed him in our Open, chance for retrieving mission now this.I wonder if something like this has happened before.

Sickening stuff. You'd think the wife would be more proud of her man winning on the pga tour than stand there like a clown at the birth.
Typical yankee crap. |
By:
i hope its not a false alarm are that baby could be dragged out!
By:
You will not get your money back, if you've backed him then i believe you have done your conkers unless you backed him after round two and then he may be deemed a non-runner!
By:

what's the ruling on Betfair regards
backing or laying Mahan after Round 2 was completed? can't seem to find it in their rules |
By:
Pretty sure all bets in the market stand. Unusual circumstances but players WD all the time without anything special happening to the market.
By:
i imagine betfair find out the time of his withdrawl and void bets on him after that time , ... perhaps
By:
what are the odds he gets there and his mrs says " sorry false alarm "
you can go back to your putting darling |
By:
i think i'm right here, anyone backing
Mahan with a bookmaker after Round 2 was completed will have his bet voided |
By:
i reckon he is happier leaving at the top of the leaderboard.something he can tell the family etc.didnt he blow his load a few weeks back when leading a similar mickey mouse tournament? no doubt he wud have shot two mediocre rounds anwyays and finished outside the top 10.hes not a ruthless winner.quality player.but not a winner

Hills are refunding all mahan bets
By:
how the **** can they void the bets
By:
they have well **** up this marget

Does anybody know exactly what time Hunter Mahan withdrew please? Any bets taken by the bookies after he withdrew will no doubt be refunded. Seemed to be some confusion as the bookies still had him priced up after Sky had reported his withdrawal.

By:
Didn't matter, the main man would have ate and shut him, coulnd your selves lucky.

I say kudos to Mahan for wanting to be there with his first child but it begs the question why he bothered to enter the tournament anyway if his wife was so close.
As for Hills refunding wagers I'm guessing they had little bet on him at fairly low odds. I find bookmakers do that all the time when they void wagers on a tenuous situation. They make it sound like they've done a great service for all their bettors when in reality they may only have had about 200 in total wagers. Betfair obviously can't do that because it's P2P so if they void wagers on one side the other side gets screwed. |

She wasn't due for another 4 weeks, think it was fine to play with that due date
