Dj's record of choking when in contention is second to none. Woods will back-pedal tomorrow...to tied for 7th/8th starting sunday. A few more trips to the rough and his elbow problem kicks off again. Plus I thought it was v interesting that he said himself that he played really well day 1...heard a lot of commentators saying how he got to the position he was in without playing too well. woods' idea of what's good play these days isn't superior or even that different to what passes as average...very different to the tiger mentality of old.

No Rhino, the Shield isnt a patch on the magnificent "The Wire".

Backed a few other outsiders as well, half of which have blown out but some scraped through and made the cut

Never seen all of The Wire, the characters never got a hold of me the way Vic Mackey and Shane Vendrell did. Loved the slow descent into moral purgatory, very Shakespearean. A true masterpiece.

apart from season 2 The wire is superb, done the shield too. For some reason never wanted to watch SOA but got around to it this week.

I thought Season 2 was great too

Saying this is golf forum's official chit chat thread, I have just started watching Steven Spielbergs, Taken. Looks promising after 4 episodes. Anyone see it and is it worth keeping watching as there are another 12 episodes to go.

With the leaders all having similar conditions now it could all come down to the putting, I've got Day and Simpson and tempted by Laird who looks to be hitting form just at the right time.
