Angel Cabrera at the Masters at 200s, I only laid a little off at the very end because at that time I was bored with golf trading was just picking 5 runners a week and letting them run.... it just fell right that week.... biggest ever win on a single event by some margin....

Adam Scott in a tournament restricted to two rounds and a sudden death play off

between the joint second round leaders, I had a most pleasant surprise when I

went into a Betfred shop to get my stake back and instead of my stake got a cheque

for a good many  thousands of pounds.

1. VJ 2008 Deutsche Bank. I asked on here for someone to put me off, you couldnt. Final round, had no pics, reliant on this place (when it was good), bird, bird bird oioi.

2. Dustbin. Hawaii

3. Halfway bets on Rhys and GMac when they finished 2nd and 1st in Wales (I think). Although they started well off the pace, never in doubt

Please dont ask the biggest loss

Only two punts in my life.....J Nicklaus last major 33/1 and T Wood 3/1 in one of his early major and can't remember which one. Taking into account of inflation and availability of money i would say JN.

By the way for those who get confusedConfusedConfused......i do not regard trading on Betfair as 'punting'CoolCool

Bob May 1999 British Masters at Woburn. Backed him at 66/1 with Ladbrokes (extra sweet) pre tourney.

Followed him round (final group)the first 17 holes at Woburn on a truly glorious sunny Sunday with my mates (who were also on for a little bit) as he went head to head with Monty in his pomp.

Couldn't get near the 18th green so we had to watch it on the big screen. May played beautifully all day and had 2 putts from four feet to win it. He hit a horror first putt and still had 3 feet or so...but he sank it. I could barely watch. Bob May payed for me to go to Law School.

Online, I once kept backing Peter Lonard in the 2005 MCI Heritage. It was the days of shot tracker. In those days there was plenty of liquidity. I backed him at around 250 pre tourney and i was hoping he got off to a good start so i could lay off. However he just kept getting birdie after birdie and instead of laying off i kept hoovering 150, 140, 120...all the way down as he just kept going.

My first lay was at 4.3 at his 17th on Thursday. I even greened out at around 4 average and then backed him again at 12/1 during the final round and he went on to win it. To this day he is my biggest ever win.

i wasn't happy and as you can tell it is burnt in to my memory.
