I definitely think this has a hint of the Webb Simpson from last year. Basically anybody from 3 or 4 back hitting 68 could win it
That is not a bad round from Billy given its his first time in the heat of a major

Market hasn't had a massive reaction to the phil bogey, 3.5 on the tee, 3.7 now.
Donald is as weak as piss.If he can't reach on this course what chance has he got to ever win a major.Not aggressive enough and just waiting for everybody to make a mistake.Will not win tomorrow,
all those shortish putts donald missed came back to bite him, that's usually his strength
I would expect a drift as well happy, should be plenty happy to take him on. Nightmare course, history of runner up and plenty chasing. His Wells Fargo exploits not long ago when leading should motivate plenty of layers
@therhino.................I am unsure how much U.S. money gets on betfair, one way or another. But I think Phil is nearly always under priced. A bit like Tiger. Look through the records and see how many last round winners come from winning round 3 of the Open. Add that to the fact of how much Phil wants this title. And then the number of top class golfers who have numerous titles among them and will not freeze if it comes to it.An opportunity to lay Mickleson again at less than 3/1. It just looks like another opportunity to profit from Mickleson's deserved reputation as a crowd pleaser.
Laying off greens on Phil would be the best option.........no point going into red.

Backed him pre tourney as part of the big 6 which is now, just Phil. Laid at 3.5 standing on the 18th tee. Was hoping for more of a boost that what is on offer now. I won't take it, it is unders right now imo but won't lay again he is red enough right now. Rose and Donald both red as well, it is hard to rate the English golfers as winners (cue angry forum backlash) but it is he truth. Happy with my lot for now.

True rhino. Not taking away from him as a great sportsman but any golfer that is afraid to put a driver in his bag but has 4 or 5 wedges. It is a little Harringtonish to me. I only post my opinions in the hope that somebody else might take them on board before investing. The one player I have been watching is the slow but sure move of Hunter Mahon. Proven and able and able to putt here.
should be a fun day, you all know who i thinks gonna win so ill leave it at that and see you all tomorrow.

Phil - obviously has the best chance but at 13/5 I'm inclined to look elsewhere for value considering the slender lead.
Hunter/Charl - both great players one off the lead will go be thereabouts, still not great value for money.
Rose/Donald - both bottlers, can't have them at all (I have been wrong before tho so if you fancy them GL).
Stricker - played well after he found the water earlier in his round but history dictates he ain't going to win one of these.
That leaves: Billy, Day and Fowler the value bets for me. Going to add Billy and Fowler to my selections.

I've not watched so many US opens, how is the course normally on day 4

Wow sergio is 10 over for the week on 15, he is 1 over on the other 17!
look how many shots the top 6 or 7 dropped on 17 and 18, no lead will be safe coming to them tomorrow, gonna see some major price swings at the end of tomorrow.

1st time ive had a go at wheeling and dealing out of my 4 lay/back and 1 back/lay ime 48% in.also got a few chances over on purple on wins.
