It was social media that got it done in the end . After numerous 'live chats' and couple of phone calls to Ladbrokes customer services i wasn't getting anywhere . I then got my brother involved and he sent a Tweet to Ladbrokes asking why i hadn't been paid out (as Twitter really isn't my thing) and within a few minutes they tweeted back saying they'd look into it but things then went a bit quiet so we decided to up the ante . He sent tweets to all the major bookmakers asking whether they'd paid out on Wakefield bets and lo and behold Ladbrokes decided to try and help me as the pace began to pick up on Twitter . They eventually settled the bets in question as winners but still claimed a technical error was the reason why we hadn't been paid . They still haven't even had the decency to send me an email or anything to apologies though or am i expecting a bit too much or am i just a bit old fashioned ?
