A few big names who would usually avoid this event joining in for their Masters prep so the organizers benefiting from the schedule change, they would never have dreamed they would have Rory teeing it up. There are a few who like it here (rubbish course imo, far from the sharks finest), and no one more than Freddy Jak... t18, t5, 2, t5 last 4 years. Great form this year as well so he selects himself this week, already pulled the trigger, took all what was lefts at 34s and went in again at 32s.

Was gonna back him yesterday at 40/1 so I hope Laird fux off, particularly as I'm on Horschel

Hi,mad trying to watch golf but hav no skysports,is there anywhere I can watch it online?
Laird getting line of sight relief. Cannot remember if we knew about that years ago. Is it just for tv and scoreboard and spectator stands. How old is the rule. I am against it but this time it suits my bets.lol.
Why do laird's odds keep jumping all over the shop? very disconcerting

because he batters it into the rough and somehow gets a free drop into a P1ss easy position.
we seem to be quite up with the pictures so no fast pic boys manipulating them as much, so more erratic as people guessing how the shots turning out maybe

As the stats are saying the course is playing 3 shots easier than yesterday and we said -9, we need to revise that maybe to -12 if Laird can do it.
yeah, wasnt expecting it to be setup to play easy, they said its the wind that makes the course hard so im guessing it was setup for the forcast wind which hasnt come
if we can somehow get laird to blow up we could be in for a grandstand finish

Well done to Laird on his win. McIlroy will also be happy enough although I cannot see him win any Masters this week. Padraig and Shane pocket nice cheques and tobe is happy.

Funny comparison to DA Points last week. Both Laird and Points had pretty solid games, but absolute disasters with putting.
DA Points switches to his 10 year old 'mums' putter and wins on first outing. Laird, switches back to his long putter after two years an instantly wins.
That's why I lack backing outsiders in Golf, all a player needs to do is change something in his brain, find a pair pf lucky socks or change his putter and psychologically he is a different player.
