if rory or oosty bring their A games it could be a shootout, but elsewhere i like the look at much bigger prices of thorbjorn oleson, the molinari brothers, and jeev singh ..t jaidee another one in the mix
Given a good run, weather wise tomorrow, i don't see why they cant get right back on track. Play 2 tees for third round, they should get it well over halfway, even if you allow for a delay of 90 min or so along the way. Can drop a few players for Sunday, and get out and complete it early. ok, if the weather as bad tommorrow as today, then its curtains!! Hoping for 72 holes, gives Scott much better chance to get in the hunt.

18 holes a day at this time of the year in Singapore takes a lot out of you . Weather / humidity etc , those with a clean run at 18 holes a day will have an advantage .
Money would be on a 54 hole tournament though .

ive zero'ed my green on rory for now but i'll be monitoring the weather and the par five hole that rory is currently struggling on, if the weather looks ok and rory gets out of the hole with at least a par i'll look at getting back with him..but he would need 72 holes definitely

i reckon if its only 54 holes, most of my team have too much to do..fmoli maybe the exception...it means that if the likes of yang, casey or bjorn go low in the second round they are going to have commanding leads on the majority of the field

scom, Oosty shot low Friday and Sat last year when event was interrupted. Admittedly it is awful value but I'm on to beat Micko and for a top10 so a shot or two makes a world of difference at the mo!

@Kelly..... you make a valid point. If you have to play with your 9 hole turning time around midday, it can be hard but the rain should keep things a bit fresher. On the leaderboard, I see McIlroy with an asterisk tru hole 12 on his second round. Does that mean he started at the 10th ?

Will do. By the way, I did watch Rory's last hole where he drove into the hazard. I think it was a par 5 but not certain. He seemed to be in thick grass but not in the water.

Just saw that. I suppose he is used to playing out of the straw grass at the links courses in Ireland. There is an amazing photograph of him and Caroline while he is in play. Nearly joined at the hip.

Latest news from the Asian Tour Facebook site. 2nd round expecte to finish today @ 3.00 pm local. A redraw will be made at that point and round 3 will start , not before 4.00 pm. The finish is timed for about 5.15 pm on Sunday. This plan is obviously weather permitting. But if there are further interruptions, then the Tour Officials will sit down with organisers and sponsors to make a decision re a 54 hole tournament or a 4th day's play on Monday.

i saw something similar on a twitter statement, but i really cant see another full day on monday as there are tournaments all around the world that a few of these players have committed to so it wouldnt be convenient..its different if it was a usa tour event where the next tournament is usually not far away but just cant see it personally...mind i hope im wrong as its shaping up to be a great event

Bjorn is scheduled for an 11.50am 2nd round tee off time and they plan that that round would finish at 3.00 pm. Organisers have not been watching rounds in the U.S. taking in excess of 5 hours.

Harrinton, Mickleson and Monty all inside cut line projectionof + 1 now. Pod -3 for the day and it is early days. Just gets him to par for the tournament.

the weather problem so far has occurred in the second half of both opening days and theres storms forecast for this afternoon ..i dont think you can do too much damage throwing a few quid his way just in case..if it looks like it could be weather delayed you'll probably be able to lay him back off with a minimal loss

My thoughts are exactly the same. I have quite a large liability on him. Just had a small bet back, but I think I will wait and see for the rest. Thank you for your input. Are you having any luck on either tournament ?

Looks more like a 54 hole than a 72 hole event and even then it will be a push! http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?hourly=1&query=1... and Monday looks bad as well

@themuppetmoves...... you are probably correct but I would be aware that Barclays would not be slow in delivering a few brown envelopes on the off chance.

I put a lay in on louis at 1.06 as I wasn't able to watch it. Having seen him miss a put on the 2nd play-off hole on the sky + I was hoping I had been matched when I checked my account. Can anyone tell me how short Louis went?
Thanks.
