i noticed that he did sound jealous of daly; when he said something like "with the excessive lifestyle john has had its amazing he still has a lovely putting stroke"

i agree, tho they are allowed to ask the crowd ect if they seen it,even had crowds helping look for it, so i guess they will say its just an extension of that.

Very lucky but it's just part of the game. The flipside is if TV cameras pick up on an infringement he will be called for that as well (whereas the obscure players would get away with it). Probably saved him 2 shots though.

as did tiger yesterday, things change in a matter of holes, tiger well capable of getting birdies back, just as rory can shoot 3 over back 9. tomorrow will be all about pressure. tiger will deffo contend at some point

These guys have caught a huge break if they have to play the back 9 tomorrow morning- perfect conditions forecast. Real shame for guys like BVP who have shot great rounds in tricky conditions and would have expected leaders to come back to them on the back 9.

just backed woods at 18 and 17.5 and therefore been able to back immelman at 28's. it was an angry bet and probably not my best; this is why i try not to use betfair....
does anyone know how immelman stands on the 11th?

hard to tell captain. As an avid supporter of him I find that he is often a very unfashionable leader- especially in a field like this.
Though on this occasion I fear the huge rise is because he is about to bogey 10.

Presumably they complete R3 in the morning, then start R4, weather permitting?
Not sure I'd like to be on the older or, er, fuller-figured players coping with two rounds in a day under this sort of pressure.

yeah he needs to knock that 8 footer in for par then shoot about 3 or 4 under back 9, maybe possible with no wind..
i've sold all my molinari, donaldson and siem; and put it all on immelman.. not sure why just praying really, i would be delighted now with a woods, poulter or immelman win, but given the calm conditions this looks like its between scott and mcilroy now (singh's putting won't hold up tommorow)

I wouldn't back him, but he's certainly not out of it.
Playing the better part of two rounds on the final day of a Major seems like a big ask to me, regardless of the weather.
Tiger's still only 5th in the betting.I wouldn't back him, but he's certainly not out of it.Playing the better part of two rounds on the final day of a Major seems like a big ask to me, regardless of the weather.
Tiger well in this. 18s is huge from a trading angle given the market love for him and the fact he's 5 back with 29 holes to play. Won the 2005 Masters from exactly this position on a marathon Sunday.

i'll be the first to admit backing woods at short prices in majors this year. but he's not the man he was. you could see him tiring last night, the effort in the wind took so much out of him, 3 very straightforward mistakes on the last 3 holes which only cost him 1 shot due to good saves. mentally he was drained today.
