Don't rush out to get the preview of the USPGA, won't be in it until tomorrow. When has this ever happened before? Looks like they are taking their eye off the ball. It's only a Major not a run of the mill tournament.

To be fair they've been stupidly busy getting the football pull out ready, plenty of time to get your bets on in the morning. Can see some of Palmers picks getting cut dramatically on here though as more people try and get on in a short period of time
Always think the selections should go in on a Thursday for us events plenty of time to get on
Disagree mate, the golf editors/writers have nothing to do with footbsll, that pull out was printed a wee while ago and could easily have gone in Thursdays paper. Footie starts Saturday, Golf tomorrow.

Bruce Millington on twitter says "various logistical issues" reason golf not in RP today.
id say he held his bets back so he could get on,everyone knows the best odds for a major are on a wednesday morning,i see kaymers beginning to attract support,maybe he is finalising his bets at the moment.

They is definitely a deliberate ploy by the Post. They know people buy the paper just for the footie preview and others buy it just for the golf preview. They smelt the £££.
Why they couldn't have put the golf preview in today and the footie tomorrow is baffling though.

To be fair, I noticed the golf wasn't in before I purchased. I wanted for the footie preview anyway.

Not sure what is meant by 'logistical issues' - in fairness, Saturday's RP advertised USPGA preview as being on Thursday so Millington could have tweeted in advance if he'd wanted to.
Space might be at a premium due to Olympics but they're still going on tomorrow plus I think they only have one golf tournament to preview this week so that argument does not really stand up.

Hmmnn - not an expert but why couldn't a few extra golf pages be added for Weds, hard to believe even a pullout would max out the space on a fairly quiet midweek racing day - plus bookies can't be too happy with adverts on Thursday?
i went to bookies yesterday and got a free football pullout and also got steve palmers tips on here for free
more shocking behavoiur is the racing post are selling the football pullout again on saturday for the bargain price of £2.95 this is separate from the normal saturday racing post
