Hmmm... Concerned now, some bloke at work (who has got money on Furyk I might add) recons they will definetely not go to a Monday finish no matter what, cos of the USPGA next week.
What the forecast suggests will happen is the players will probably get out at 4pm Akron time, and they will manage 12 or so holes before dark? Would they then come back monday to play the last 6 holes or so?

If half the round is completed they have to finish it, so yes they would come back if more play today.
Looking at the radar, the first band is scudding past quickly and the second band is thinning and looking less threatening, so I'd say there will be more play today, if not for a while, and a 72 hole tournament.

any bets after the end of round 3 will be void if it is 54 holes.

Brilliant that is music to my ears! Massive bonus to my chances having the course hugely watered, this will make things alot tougher for Furyk and will suit the bombers; Bradley, Mcilroy and Oosty. Might go and put some money on oosty actually.
Update due in an hour from the tour but players hopeful they will be out shortly after that
Hitting the fairways is the key if it is wet then they become easier to hold as do the greens.
From the radar, worst parts of the storm have passed, missed or dissipated. I don't see any reason they couldn't head back out pretty soon. Worst of it has missed north over the lake and there doesn't seem to be any electricity heading their way.

Very hard, rattling round the house on your own after forty yesrs. Have Oozthuizen and Rose winners, nobody else with much chance, and no idea what's happening. Might havle my liability and start again next week. Good luck with yours.

Going to lay Louis...2.82 is way too short for a non winner on the PGA tour..and he is one behind Furyk,who has a great record around this track...
hope furyk gets it done but after his final round at the us open im not confident. He has scrambled well this week hopefully he can keep that going

Not sure who this delay will benefit Furyk or Keegan more. Wouldn't think Keegan wants to stop right now but Jim probably doesn't need thinking time given he's been in winning positions recently and hasn't got it done.

Wow clutch putt from Jim and then Keegan right on top of him. Don't think I've ever seen a 3 ball handle a green as good as that with the pressure on. Great stuff all round, quality golf.

My luck had to change at some point, not had a big win all year, despite being in some great positions; £8k if stricker won john deere, had 20 quid on hoffman at 25/1 pre final round when he blew up big time, had £170 each way on bud cauley at 150/1 first round leader a few months ago when he was leading then finished first round bogey bogey... stuck at the game and sure enough it has paid off...

That odd swing of Furyk is letting him down under pressure.
Well done mate, Keegan def at his best coming from behind. Had he been a shot in front coming down the stretch you would not trust him, but reeling in a lead he plays with pure guts. Great to watch this kid, sky is the limit. That's a major and a WGC in his first 2 years, Keegan should pull LJW aside and give him some fatherly advice!

yeah was a total brain freeze. incredible, seems like it's happening the leader of every tournament these days. thought it was still furyk's day with the break off the tee shot and bradley being plugged. just blew it. on to the pga man
