Right, rarely bet on golf and have a bit of a situation I can use some advice on?  Backed McDowell pre-tourn - £200 at 34.  Had a few others also - total exposure around the £700 mark.  Some of that is now gone on players who didn't make the cut so my situation now reads as £338 exposure with £6,177 green if McDowell wins.

What would you do?  Go for all green around the £700 mark OR lay GMac for the £338 which would leave me £4432 at current lay price of 6.4?

I'm Irish so obviously heart says GMac but head is saying something elsen - advice appreciated.

Cheers

If money is important to you trade out if not let it run.

I would try and get my stake back at least.  Then if he doesn't win youve had a freebie arvo of entertainment and if he wins youll be well happy with 4K anyway

If you fully greened to the 700 mark and Mcdowell went and won you would never forgive yourself. That said he's seems too short so maybe i'd just take my stake back. good luck

Have layed £600 on GMac - stake back + £250 on all and £3k if GMac wins - You're right, I would struggle to accept it if he won and I had £700 green but I could live with £3k if he won.
