Have to say, quite disappointed with coverage on 5 live, perhaps just me, but too much banal nonsense. It was on all day and if they had one hour of coverage I would be surprised. Sorry for rant, but it used to be really good, Jay Townsend is good, but thats about it. Is it just me?

i thought it was poor as well. Not enough golf.
Radio Scotland did the scottish open all 4 days and it was far better. None of the news stories nonsense that we were getting all the time today. |

I know, you just wanted an update on the leaderboard etc, I dont mind the cricket, but they spent more time updating that than the golf,and that was on sports extra, along with traffic, news updates, talking about nothing, I dont mind a bit of that, in fact it can be quite good. Also, do they have to explain everything,as if everybody listening knows nothing about golf. Rant over. Anywho, come on Paul Lawrie. Think he will win in a play off again.
