Backed 4 players on here;

Dustin Johnson 60/1 - Should of won The Open last year, seems to contend in every major he plays in. I love the way he saunters around the course like he doesn't really care and always seems so cool and relaxed, this is possibly why he seems to play well in majors cos of his whole attitude. Anyway I'd much rather back Dustin at 60's than Westwood at 16's, Dustin will win a few majors in his time and I can't see why he can't get his first this week. He's just come back from injury and won a few weeks ago so he is bang in form too.

John Huh 550/1 - This lad has really impressed me this year, his consistent performances week in week out is very impressive considering this is his rookie season. In 19 events played on the pgatour he's had 9 top 25 finishes, this is the type of form you'd expect from Kuchar or Donald, so for a rookie to achieve this is quite outstanding. Also should mention he has won this year too, albeit a smaller pga tour event this shows his ability to get the job done. Negatives are this will be Huh's first major (but that didn't stop Keegan Bradley) and I'm not sure how much experience he has of playing links golf. But with his impressive form this year the price of over 500/1 simply has to be backed!

Kyle Stanley 380/1 - Terrific player, showed huge character when he made triple bogey on the last hole last year and then won the following week, that was a testiment to his character. Awesome golf swing and hits it miles and sometimes straight, if he gets hot he could definetely contend.

Joost Luiten 600/1 - This guy oozes class, again another player like Dustin who has a confident swagger and a player who I think will thrive on the big stage. Made 12 of 14 cuts this year, got his first win last year, finished 2nd a few weeks ago in wales (where if I remember correctly the weather was sh1t). Just felt 600/1 was way too big a price for a player of his calibre.

So these are my 4, there is some real value in the market, when you consider Darren Clarke who has been terrible since winning The Open last year is less than 200/1 and a player like John Huh who is bang in form and improving week by week is 3 times the price of somebody who can hardly make a cut!

John Huh, yeah basically he's a massive price cos he's a rookie and not particularly highly rated or hyped up like rickie fowler, but if you look at his results this year he's almost as good as fowler, fowler is 11th on the fedex cup and huh is 17th.. Now i'm not saying Huh is as likely a winner as fowler but he definetely shouldn't be 10 times the price of fowler!
Huh is a must back this week, also has excellent driving accuracy stats too..

should probably mention my greens so i don't get accused of aftertiming from alf the cu nt.
Dustin +£30k
Huh +£110k
Stanley +£37k
Luiten +£45k

Will be amazing if Huh can get in the mix.

Huh bang in form?

He has had some good weeks this year. Since March he has two top tens 4 missed cuts and a withdrawl.

Not one for me but at 550 it is a big price. Id be surprised if he made the cut but you never know.

Another vote for Dustin. Been watching his price all week, hoping for more than 60s. Everytime all the 60s has disappeared from the lay column someone instantly drops in another grand or two. Giving me the sh1ts, let it drift people. Remember last year he was a massive drifter before the off, traded at a similar figure all week to what he is now and then hit 90s before the off. Hoping for a repeat, will continue to monitor but have not pulled the trigger yet.

Is Kyle Stanley back in this? Now 2 under, if and I know its a massive IF; Kyle can shoot the round of his life and shoot 6 under and post 7 under, will he still have a chance? What does everyone think will be leading at the end of today 12 under?
