I've said it before.

His attitude stinks.

Every interview, even if he has played well, is just misery, misery, and more misery.

Real shame that a guy with his talent, doesn't appreciate what a lucky boy he is.

And what's all this "We" bllx ? Is he a member of the Spanish royal family ?

I backed him last week and knew I'd done my dough first time I saw his mug on camera

His attitude stinks, I don't think I once saw him aknowledge the crowd when they applauded him either

He's been beaten up badly these past 5 years by the flat stick and i think it got so bad he wanted to walk away from it all. Those two wins in Europe helped last year but that spark and passion he had as long gone. He's quite an immature person as well, possibly spoilt, and i just dont think he's tough enough/wants it enough to get back to where he was.

Shame because i still tell everyone he's the most naturally gifted player i've ever seen on a golfcourse

Should have won 2 majors.

He's probably angry that they slipped through his fingers... especially the USPGA where Harrington holed everything and Garcia put one in the water late in the final round.....

On his day he's more than capable but as I tell my mate who backs him every major - ' you cannot win a major by putting bad'.

It wouldnt be a huge surprise to see him retire in a year or two.

Notice this thread was created after a few bogies

Very poor form indeed, and aftertiming by Maggot no terrible shock to the system

Aussie... You grade A tw@t.

If you want to go back far enough, I've been saying this about Garcia for months, so where is the aftertiming ?

Is it impossible for you, not to have a pathetically childish snipe, every time that frames posts ?

You need to grow up, son.

Not so sure he's finished yet Frames/Maggot. It would be no surprise to me if he did a Darren Clarke. Danny said he played majestic golf in Sweden's last round.

It's all in the headGrin!!!

Layable at 48s for the Open so still plenty of respect for him out there, would have thought he'd be much bigger.

He's on my short list Rhino.

In Thailand, 3 of us approached the practice green. Thinking it was Danny putting I said "how the #$%$ can he not win golf tournaments with a stroke like that. He cant miss, its poetry". Unfortunately it was Sergio with his back to us. Danny was on the other side of the green. Im still laughing now, what a t@#t!!!.

I can't write him off either Denno, too much talent. Reminds me of Petr Korda the Czech tennis player from way back when, an absolute basket case most of his career interrupted by spurts of pure genius nobody could match. Sergio is the same and like Korda, the stars will align ONE day I feel.

Sick to death of listening to him, when he is being interviewed....He takes having a chip on his shoulder to a different level....Maybe he should, have a walk around Spain for a few weeks.25% of people out of work, major problems all over the country and there's poor old Sergio...!Moaning because he can't hole a putt!
Will go down in golfing History as a wasted talent...who never got close to reaching his full potential..

Agreed Rhino and I think the Open is his biggest chance.

Hacker, he's paid enough tax over the years. Whats happening in Spain has nowt to do with him. He gets paid for holing putts, so if he cant hole one he's entitled to moan about it. So, is the Spanish tax man.....

Guess this thread goes to show it is only when a certain individual posts something negative about a golfer it is viewed as poor.

Interesting double standards from the OP, although I guess he can't see it

I never learn.

Backed the fool to beat Rose in a 2 ball.

He is up to his normal tricks.

The best thing he could do is retire as he obviously does not enjoy being one of the pack.

As long as Dustbin puts the "no longer boy wonder" in his place.  Happy

Great result for one of the best shot makers in the game today. Exciting player who has rebuilt his game against others negativity and constant ridicule.  Congratulations SERGIO

Congratulations to Sergio. The boy deserves it, coming back from almost packing the game in. Well done.

Excellent for our Ryder Cup chances.
