It's back to the horses for me for a while.  Laid Steer By the Stars (2.20 Hamilton) @ 4.8, shorter now, and Suffice (3.30 Hamilton) @ 2.5, bigger now.  Still trying to lay some in later races.  Good luck with the Golf bets, all.

Richard Sterne has shown enough this year to suggest he could be in the mix......expecting Gagli to start showing some form....

Alex Cejka wasn't initially on my radar this week I just felt his price was too big.He has had a 2nd, 5th and 6th on the course in the past and was 3rd in this event two years ago.After a couple of withdrawals in April he has made his last five cuts with some pretty low rounds thrown in. I think he is a far better player than those at a similar price 0.25 ew 100/1 (75/1 or better OK).
Second pick is David Drysdale who was 8th when this course was last used back in 2009. He has also been 4th and 11th in this event in 2009 and 2010 and comes here in great form. He was 10th at Wentowrth despite an awful third round 78 when he dropped eight shots in four holes and then was 11th at Celtic Manor. I can easily see him faltering against some of the big guns if he is up there on Sunday hence only 0.1 ew 90/1 but in those last two events he has been t4th for top GB & Ireland - hence the 0.5 ew 25/1 in that market.

I think Luiten looks a fair price this week. When at his best he makes plenty of birdies and I think the course will suit him nicely. I have also had tentative bets on Fraser, Drysdale and Mcginley and then a few small bets on Morrison, Saxton, Sullivan, Jeong and Fritelli. Good luck people.

marcel siem never ever wins, but is playing well , knows the course well, playing at home and avalible at 50/1 with laddies for first round leader, has had some explosive starts in the past, before the nerves set in......ovepriced imo

No-one backing anyone seriously according to the amounts matched.  About £2000 in the last hour. Siem was OK @ 30 plus though.  Have laid Bircham @ evens in the first at Ripon.  two others but both over 4/1 at present.
