I'm heavy on Kuchar and was astonished he was 32 when he finished on +3. I backed him again at 32 and 30.
+2's and +3's will be sitting very pretty in 3hrs time.

Monty is soooo negative, no wonder he never won a major, slating this poor kid left right and centre for not being super conservative with every shot selection

That could be the one thing to let Tiger down, his putting, makes those putts today its all over. Saying that, been same for lot of players, misjudging short putts, greens must be an extremely hard read.

Would it matter making the cut on the line, your not going to win from there, likely winning score around level to +2 looking at this. Guys on +3/+4 should be looking for a 68 tomorrow to be in contention Sunday, and those are scarce here.

Not everyone will collapse from -1 to +2,of which we have 10 players. Maybe the likes of Thompson and Presnell, but Furyk and Toms experience should see them hold it together,Mcdowells eyes in,then of course Tiger,he looked to be struggling today and shoots 70,think that puts it in perspective. +3/+4 Shoot low or you wont win.

Well he has the shots, but if he wins its not going be by 4/5 on this course,no chance. Hes hit a few bunkers today but everytime hes in trouble hes produced a shot,if anything its the difficulty of the greens which has kept this close and will do over the weekend. Looks assured to be an exciting finish. Anyone want 2.6,lol.

Well done to The Goose...been playing some pretty poor stuff lately and looked well out of this after +5 yesterday and then +3 today so was +8 with 3 to play....finishes with 3 bird to +5....he's very experienced ( a 2 time winner of US Open when the greens were virtually unputtable on the Sunday ) and although 6 behind may seem an awful lot a half decent round tomorrow could put him in the picture for a late charge on day 4....I've chucked away a lady @ 1000 just in case

Looking like 5x 69 and one 68 in top 40 players today, why its hard to see anyone outside +4 with any chance, and even then those on +4 will have to have 2 storming rounds, tough to put it mildly.

What I've seen in the last two days, nobody should be less than 4/1 on this course. If they water the course, the early starters will have a slight advantage. If they don't, then the late starters will have trouble keeping the ball on the greens. Tiger will probably win, but with seventeen within 4 shots of the lead with two rounds to go, taking short prices is suicidal in my view. Have taken a lot of my greens on Furyk, Toms, and McDowell out. Have plenty of big winners in the +2,+3 and +4 groups, so I'll just sit still now and see what happens. Good luck with yours.

the best round yesterday was 67. Cant see that being bettered by many if at all
really cannot see many getting into this from behind and the 3 in front are quality.

Surely if you think a player "should probably win", if you framed a betting market you would have them considerably less than 4/1?

Hacker I agree Tiger has looked very good thus far however he is only 1 under. One bad swing can cost you two shots. There is a long way to go yet. If don't put any water on or get tough with the pins then it could become a lottery.

Aussie driver, just an opinion really, but my figures on the event do colour my view. Tiger and Furyk coupled are about even money on the prices. Toms and McDowell coupled represent about a 6/1 chance. Which is probably abour right, but this course is just a lottery, as Tiger showed on the seventeenth last night.
Basically, I don't want to lose if Tiger wins, it will bad enough to have to listen to Monty and the rest babbling on about him tonight and tomorrow. Golf is fun, and one of my multi K winners will wink at the judge one day. My horses are the serious business. Have just laid one today, Bamurru (3.50 Bath) @ 2.24.

Thanks, aussie. I could start an argument in an empty room. But then again, when an Irishman was once accused that he could start an argument in an empty room, he replied by saying that if he was in it, it wouldn't be empty.
