being as the the Olympic Club is known as the "graveyard of champions" i'm having afew sheckles on Stephen Ames who maybe in decline at 49yrs but very capable in the wind and Brian Harman former US junior champion + represented the US twice in the Walker Cup who in my opinion{unlike Steve Palmer) has a very bright future in the game.

Michael Allen, although all the 1000 has gone overnight! He won't win but I can see him going well for a couple of rounds to make a nice profit.
Re Palmer, not disputing he can pick some winners but some of his one line comments re golfers are very bizarre. I was also shaking my head when i read his summary of Harman! |

I remember his comment about Petterson last year in similar piece, something like "a poor player in poor form who's putter occasionally gets hot"!
OK he wasn't in the best of form at the time but I felt it was somewhat harsh! |
