Expecting him to go off as favourite, I would be happy with anything above 17.0.
The other 'top' runners have nothing special about their form at the Crowne Plaza :
Kuchar 16th, 56th, 27th
Fowler 16th, 38th, DNP
Mahan 10th, CUT, 27th
Dufner CUT, DNP, 59th

Zach Johnson at 17.0 realy!! as much as i agree that he is playing well i could never take him at that price therefore that would have to be a lay in my book.

Harris English @ 140's + Nick Watney @ 32's would be decent value against the top 5 - can see an outsider winning this so value in taking a few @ 100-150 especially for those who like to lay off.

Hunter Mahan at 27s for me. One of the most consistent players on tour this year, hits a lot of fairways and greens which will suit this course. 10th last year. Personally, I thought he would have been priced up around the same odds as the favourites and was pleasantly surprised to see him at 9/10 points bigger

Here's hoping that one of mine can join Rickie, and Duf in the Break A Duck Club.
Jonas Blixt @ 85 Bud Cauley @ 100 Cameron Tringale @ 140 Kevin Streelman @ 180
May add a couple more before the off. Good luck.

Palmer at 75/70s a nice price me thinks ...decent form over the last few outings and was only a few back after three rounds in this last year to fall away with a 73

Zach Johnson @ 15's deffo lay as i layed at 17's also - very short for someone who hasnt won in a while even if he is playing well recently, beware!! my 3 for the record are H English although trading at 75's aprox is too short N Watney at 40's aprox (decent price and a very good chance) which leaves Bo Van Pelt the Black horse of the field although trading a little short at the mo - gd luck!!

tipsters going for the same men, forcing prices in, something had to go out....
this isnt like a bookies where they cut some and leave the rest the same

Not sure i'd be laying Zach at the mo' has course form & playing very well, got all the right tools to take it this week.
So pennies on him for me & also backed Furyk, Crane & Oggy for a Sunday play once Wentworth is over. gl all

Bryce Molder is a bit more of a hunch than anything else and the pick is based mainly on his scoring average at Colonial where he has only played six rounds - a m/c and a 5th. His average score works out at 67.33 which is better than anyone else playing including Zach Johnson. His win in the Frys.com last year came two years after he had placed 6th in that event (albeit a different course) and also his win on the Nationwide Tour came two years after he had placed 5th at that event - maybe it's a good omen! 0.3 ew 80/1 I will stick with Leishman again this week as he really gave it a good try last week and but for a short missed putt on the 17th on Sunday he played quite well in contention. We still have the Texas angle on our side and whilst he was only 44th last year on his debut he was 7th with a round to go 0.3 ew 70/1. James Driscoll intrigues me this week as this is the month he seems to come alive. His top 5 strike rate for all events on both tours is 5.2% and top ten 9.7% - in May this rises to 15.6% and 28.1% - that is quite a big difference. This year unusually he already has a pair of top ten finishes to his name. A lot of those good finishes have been in Texas and he will be very pleased with his form on Monday at the Open qualifier in the Lone Star State where he was one of the men who made it through the playoff to qualify for the second time. His form here is not exceptional but he has shot some low rounds - 0.25 ew 125/1 + 0.5 top 10 12/1.

I'm sticking with my £88.07 at average odds of 22.46 on Zach. I know, I know - I should lay some off but made a deal with myself that I won't lay off until (if ever) he reaches 5.0.
Good luck everybody !!

Yeah some very strange prices Harry. Dufner and Mahan should be favourites for mine considering the season they're both having. Market in love with BVP these days. 5 top 10s this year is a misleading stat for mine, consistent yes but I don't recall a Sunday this year where he was truly a factor and looked like actually winning. Mahan and Dufner good prices as is Baddeley and Cauley if looking for bigger prices.

Dufner has never been consistent on this course. A good start does not mean he has conquered the course, Zach is proven here. Dufner will gradually lose it around here.

Didn't say he'd conquered the course AG but Dufner version 2012 has never played this course A 1.01 express is a very rare thing in golf and I refuse to believe that Zach even if he wins won't trade a fair bit higher than the 4.7.

had some of Romero at 3 figure last night as well, laid off now, he's been on the fringes at times this year. Zach's to loose at this point thou' might get to sit on me hands & enjoy the next 3 days from afar for once.....

Dufner 2012 sneaking results where as last year he was just falling short. His putting has let him down on this course in the past. He has had good rounds here in the past put cant maintain it. The odds are still stacked against him to follow up with 3 more good rounds. Obviously i want Zach

Harry i am a big fan of Dufner and i like the guy but i am banking on this catching him out more than ZJ, especially on the greens. Not slating the guy.

Greened this up OK, with Zach and Jason good winners. Not really any other realistic chances though, and four of my team will miss the cut. Good luck with yours. The BMW is shaping up to be a disaster though.

Anyone got a clue what to do today. Looks like two runners, but thinking of moving some of my Bryce Molder green to any two of Tommy Two Gloves, Rickie Fowler and Harris English. Bo Van Pelt looks two short to me.

ZJ'z hung tuff so far & closed on duffner, be one to watch later & hopefully plenny of flip-flops between the two for trading although id really fancy ZJ to press home any adv should it arise tonight. gl all

Books must be seething again....favs both with good chances across the pond and it looks almost certain that one of the front 4 in the market wins both sides.

He couldn't have been more obvious with a beacon on his head. Unfortunately, unlike my last 'beacon banker' with my biggest ever bet, I didn't play this week. He couldn't even chuck the thing away.
Fair play.
