In essence 3 weeks ago we employed a plasterer to do 2 x ceilings and skim the living room/stair walls,he charged me £400 and took 4 hours. This week the decorator is in and the walls have started to blister when painted,he has had the plasterer out (I was at work)and has applied PVA to said damage and assured the decorator that would solve the problem. This morning the decorator applied fresh paint and I got home at 5pm tonight to see the paint starting to blister. Now tomorrow I will have the plasterer out and will advise him that I want the walls re-skimmed,want money for fresh paint and to pay the decorator for his extra work, problem solved if he complys. However if he does not what professional course of action should I take ?
I will take 5 posts of kick his heid in then I want proper advice please.
sounds like your puting vinyl silk straight onto new plaster. thats a neddy no no. pva all your walls, emulsion and then vinyl silk. if this is true don't blame the plasterer, your painter is the nob.

PVA on wall first....wait till sticky....then re-plaster.....simples.
Make sure the plasterer is using the correct mixture of plaster and water.
4 hours to do 2 ceilings living room and stairs walls......looks like a rush job.....a pro plaster i used would have taken 2 days.
Are you telling us you do not know how to paint?
