Correct first time overthecliff. Missed the 20/1 unfortunately, waiting for funds to clear, my bad and shows why I need to manage my cashflow better.
Never backed him before (if I have it must of been ages ago).
Everything points to him this week, can't be bothered to list all the reasons (course form, current form, change of putter, etc..), in my opinion he is the most likely winner in the field this week, and to have him at 3rd favourite is lovely.

As you all know I'm not a fan of backing favourites but occasionally one I like the look of pops up, and Jim fits the bill this week.

Jim's out early so can't see any reason he should be out of the top 5 at the end of today..

Yes, could be big advantage late starters.  16mpg winds at the moment, due to die completely mid afternoon.  Unusual to see that, and doesn't look like it'll even out tomorrow either.  Some guys all over the shop at the moment.

I have to admitt I was extremely lazy and didn't even check the weather forecast before I put the bet on, in fact I wanted to back Brian Harman first round leader at 125/1 but didn't due to the fact he was going out in the afternoon.

I will never make that mistake again, lesson learnt...

I've just gotta pray the forecast is wrong and the wind stays all day. Looking unlikely though isn't it.

you asked a question....I answered it...enlighten us as to the ''aftertiming'' of that ???  Good Old Jimbo is -3 and I thought it looked unlikely to be the leading score after round 3

I really don't know why you bother posting, Alf. You never seem to have any bets, and you never have anything worthwhile, or pleasant to say about anything, or anyone. You come across as a bitter individual. Try and cheer up a bit, there's a good fella.

Check the date that was posted King Tw@t, I had backed Jim to be first round leader, he shot 3 under the best of the morning wave, unfortunately the wind died and 3 players got to 4 under so I didn't even collect much for the place part (cos 4 were tied on 3 under)...

Not only are you the king aftertiming tw@t you should also think about reading the whole thread before sticking your ugly fking nose in! Got it?

Obviously hit a nerve   I remember very well last season when you started your ''money making'' thread....it lasted about 14 tournaments and you was 4k+ down then said you was never posting again !!!!!  about a month later you came on after 3 rounds claiming to have backed someone who was leading or tied at outrageous odds and had traded for a massive profit   strange as it may seem, it was the first winning bet you'd had all season and was the only one you had not posted pre tournament
