Can't call this but would love to see Bubba win it.

Gona plump for a Bubba tear up I think.
I just can't see the -4's getting involved. Any views lads |

Well looks like my fingers are well and truly burnt !! Don't have Hanson, Phil or Bubba. Only real hope is with Louie now. I can see Hanson getting the jitters - he rarely takes winning opportunities in Europe so stands no chance here really. That said he has been a much improved player this term.
Phil's to lose and at around 7/4 he is probably worth a bet - but im not risking my bank on it. Just hoping that someone from the -5 and under brigade applies some pressure on the leaders. |

just watching last round--hope i get lucky
my portfolio is down too -4 pod 130/1 tiger hole in 1 66/1 g/l all ![]() |

I have rescued my Championship by greening out of a Hanson back at 4.8.
Now got small green the field and slightly bigger green on Hanson, laid Lefty for my only red, and thats pretty small.. |
By:
Had a small bet on Mcllroy top 10 @ 6.4, be just like him to bounce back with a 65 now he is more or less out of it, playing with GMac is probably a positive.

Head says Watson.
Gut warns me of Mahan. |

All sunk here Rose westy Donald traded my westy to back lefty at 8 then traded lefty back at 4
Still recovering from roses 2 nd shot good chance of eagle rushed to garage to get wine to celebrate got back in to find it had rolled back in water Seems to me hardly any shots to green however good finish close and I'd like to see them grow some rough. Course always set up for Americans Take the major status away from the rednecks and let's have an Asian major we'd get better tv and course why should America have two majors Still hope lefty does it tho good to his fans |

america have 3 majors

Only one winner from here. Strategy is simple, get as nice a number as possible next to the name Mickelson. 2.76 a gift, should be far closer to evens if you ask me.
By:
Hanson shot an incredible back 9, 31 shots, probably one of the best EVER played in a major, hopefully Phil will be back to his normal erratic self and Hanson will walk all over him.
By:
Mickelson's wasn't bad either with 30, but that run of Hanson's was mind blowing.
By:
Phils normal self at Augusta is winning. No fear for him with the task ahead.
By:
Doesn't bother me who wins now so long it is not poulter lawrie, jacobson or f moly...prefer mickleson to lose as he is my lowest greens....highest greens would be hanson, watson, mahan.....if mickly gets an early birdie and goes odds on...will probably lay...wait and see.

Very little to cheer about here. Have Byrd, along with Rose and Crane. Wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that Rose & Crane could've been sat at -4 and ready to pounce. As it is, 729/1 says I won't be winning!
Tried to take Hunter at 100 before he tee'd off yesterday but 85-90 was the biggest on offer. No doubt he's in great form though. Have question marks over Hanson's ability to close out a runn of the mill tournament, never mind the Masters. Doubtful of Bubba's ability to handle to quicker greens, Kuchar never finished top-5 in a major, Westwood doesn't seem to be holing anything, and Harrington & Stenson haven't shown enough form in contention to be considered IMO. 1 MICKELSON 2 OOSTHUIZEN 3 WATSON 4 HANSON 5 KUCHAR Can see the final leaderboard looking something like that come midnight tonight Whoever you're on, best of luck! |
By:
Can see Phil or Pete shooting a low round again usually happens on final day and rarely 2days on run, think anyone wanting to get involved will have to hit -9, on kucher big myself hoping he's the one to have his low round day
By:
cant see....... even

Final day will revolve around the following approach for me:
* Lay heavily odds-on challengers for a top five finish * Lay players after completing the front-nine * Back players once safely aboard 12th green * Back players close to the clubhouse lead after they've finished their round |

Morning All,
As has been said above a great days viewing yesterday & I'm sure more of the same to come today. A mixed bag for me yesterday but def more good than bad. My pre tourny lay set up on Badds of 30 came in so my book on here is now a very nice green with field green basically covering all my bookie bets. The dissapointment yesterday was Badds tumble down the leaderboard. Of my original picks leaves me with Bubba, Henryk in the mix & Sneds & Watney with outside place chances. Like some above I'm not dismissing Henryk just yet as he looks stronger every day, at the very least hopeing for the top 6 at 150s. Phil is obviously the most likely winner. Of the other front runners I can't see Hanson or LJW's short game holding up. I just can't see Oostie winning a major again so soon even if the incentive is for his best mate Charl to give him the Green Jacket. Smiley Matt just doesn't look to have the 'steel' to win & as much as I admire his game it's a big ask for Hunter to turn it on two Sunday's running. Other than Henryk & putting Phil to one side that leaves Bubba & Pod. Not ruling Pod out but, wishful thinking I know, but a sneaking feeling we might see Bubba thanking the Lord for his guidance on this special day etc in his post round interview.... Good luck all & enjoy ![]() |

Possibly the best day and a half of golf for me financially in an awful long time, starting with Westwood's double to finish Friday, Woods capitulation, Mcilroy's meltdown, and Westwood's failure to go with the leaders yesterday, the situation is now just outstanding.
Agree with Rhino that Mickelson is a very good price from here, he is far closer to a 50/50 chance of winning from where he is and at a tick over 2.7 is a good bet. He is my best, followed by Oosty, but it is all green all ways now |
By:
i would love to see watson or mahan win this!!!
By:
All of Lefty's score has been made on the back nine. He could trade bigger early on...
By:
been saying all week, back phil before the back 9 every day
that will be my plan again today ![]() |
By:
Bring it home Phil

and I also agree phils price is big

Hello lads, what time can we watch the final day on Sky today?
By:
nor sure what to do now, had bad month so could do with getting some thing yet loath not trusting my bet of three months ago.
bet hanson for £4 at 290/1 to win £8 at 50/1 top 5 and £8 at 30/1 top european have few big outsiders i bet on first day like lawrie stenson still have squeak. hanson has been close lately and he is decent player hence why i bet him and laird three months ago, and there odds jumped up the day of toury so bet them again. so is it fate now all or nothing as surely he will be top euro or top 5 even if lossing. dont need to rush till hes ready to tee of as surely up to hole 8 they will all have went worse behind as first 7 are tough. |
By:
Have really messed this up. Could go 4.5k red but Phils price looks big to me and has given me a way out that I do not deserve. Phil +0 Bubba +3K the rest -8.5K. gla

Bubba has god on his side today.

By:
jeeez haltuna thats a brutal book..as you say phil has every chance of getting you out of it..bubba would really turn it around
By:
Does anyone think a 70 from Phil won't be enough ???
By:
it could be enough, that would mean the -4 men shooting 65 to pass him, bubba would need a 67 to beat him ..oosty a 68, and obviously the key is hanson who would only need a 70 himself, but is just as likely to shoot 75
By:
i think he will play it by ear and keep an eye on the leaderboard and do just enough..it may be he can coast home but if needs be he can easily up his game
By:
reckon a slow and steady start as per yesterday for phil, unless hanson ups his game and shoots birdies

Just been playing with ratings based on last round performances only back to Jan 2010 for those sub-100 in the betting, compared to first 3 rounds.
I get: MICKELSON Phil 0.5 HANSON Peter 0.4 OOSTHUIZEN Louis -0.3 WATSON Bubba -1.2 KUCHAR Matt 0.4 WESTWOOD Lee 0.6 MAHAN Hunter -0.2 HARRINGTON Padraig -0.8 STENSON Henrik 0.5 It looks like good players are consistently good regardless of what day of the week it is - only Bubba is the exception being more than a shot worse on average, so I expect to him to blow it at some point today. Westwood is a pretty dependable player on day 4s and usually plays about 1/2 a shot better than normal. Other than that, there's no obvious trends. |
By:
i think michelson is short,im laying erratic at best, self destructive at worst
By:
will we see action from the first hole today or is still back nine only?
