Quote from Coral;"The Par 3 at Augusta got called off last night, we have settled on the declared results & returned stakes players who didn't complete round"Lets hope betfair do the same. On a side note, as far as the discussion regarding betting on this event goes. I knew full well that this was a fun event, and players playing trick shots, or letting their kids putt is one thing, but when they haven't competed the round, or haven't even played a shot, that's surely a completely different matter. That being said, I only put a couple of pound on. I'd just like it back so I can stick it on Bubba Watson to win :D
I remember Betfair refunding bets on that Davydenko fiasco a few years back in Poland when it was clear he purposely lost that tennis match but I don't think they've ever given back players money for anything other than that. I think it's fair to say that Betfair isn't worried about losing the respect of bettors because it's still the best betting option around. As long as they get their commission they're happy to settle any bet as per the "decision of the scorer" whoever that is.
