Most of the top players play with a draw as it adds yardage. Very few top pros like Monty played with a natural fade thesedays as most courses require a degree of length off the tee.
Strangely I draw my driver, 9 iron & wedges but tend to fade my 3 wood/rescue club & long/mid irons?! Not sure why. Do any pros have similar abnormalities?

tigers stock standard shot is a slight fade i believe. On those holes he needs to hit a big draw he normally struggles. he is one of the players that can comfortably shape the ball both ways, but ive heard him say a number of times, that he knows his game is bang on when he is able to draw his driver comfortably on that par 5 which requires a big draw(cant remember what hole). I dont think that if you struggle to draw the ball you cant win, but it certainly wont help. I would imagine Ausgusta will also be beneficial to those who can shape the ball both ways. It does seem quite damning though that players such as Zach Johnson and Kenny Perry could do so well with their basically hook grips.
